Came from Louisiana to visit Memphis and wanted something local and unique and we hit the jackpot with this little gem! Thanks to local references in a Memphis restaurant review group we had the most delicious meal tonight! They give you very generous portions and the complementary bread is fresh and addictive! Karlie was a wonderful server. Very attentive and sweet! If we come back up this way we will definitely be back!

New ownership has improved things. Friendly staff and good tasting food. But, for what you get the prices are very high in our opinion. With such a large choice of places to eat in and around the Memphis area, the prices put this low on our list.

Hometown dining nicely done! Nestled in the old Town area of Bartlett, Tn. You will find this cute place, Side Porch Steakhouse! The building has been updated and feels like a bistro but with a warm welcome like you’re visiting a friends home. The dining area is nice but in my opinion the tables are a little too close for me. The evening I was there it had turned cold outside and did begin to rain. The air conditioning was turned on high so we were freezing but they did eventually turn the AC off. I’m sure all this was a combination of weather my own body temp.

Best steak I ever had! I was a little scared of the price after reading a recent review . It was not any more expensive than Outback or Logans ! It was actually very cheap for a quality steak house!! Enjoyed seeing all the Bartlett people out . Loved seeing the owner making his rounds !! Found my new steak house !

The food was amazing, the atmosphere was casual, decent, and welcoming, and the food was very delicious. My family ordered steak with salad and i have ordered a grilled chicken salad and we all enjoyed our food.This restaurant gave me the impression of a casual home kitchen that is inviting and down-to-earth. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who have never eaten here.

Great steaks. House made blue cheese dressing. Great prices. Update: Visited restaurant under new management for son’s birthday. The renovated place looks good with fresh paint and floors. Owners attentive, making sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying their food. My son’s filet was raw, rather than medium rare, and they fixed the steak right away, along with the fries that were still undercooked, as well. He reported that his shrimp was rubbery. My husband’s steak, the porterhouse, and my strip (half of which went home with me) were cooked perfectly medium rare, baked potatoes hot and fluffy, salads good with house made dressing. The new management is off to a great start in keeping the tradition alive for this Bartlett institution. I even thought their crouton basket was better than the previous menu item.

From my experience 3 stars is the proper rating. Their service was excellent. We came in with a big party and Hailey did a great job serving us. She was very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is also very inviting. The food, however wasn’t very good. I had a ribeye. It wasn’t a premium cut (which I would expect from a steakhouse). The steak was cooked to the proper temp. But was very underseasoned. Tasted like it was put straight on the grill. My salad was very wet and soggy. The best part of the meal was the croutons they serve before the meal. If I were to ever come back I’d probably just forgo the steak and order something like chicken tenders.

This was our first time since the reopening. WOW! Our dinner was absolutely amazing! My oldest had a steak, I had the chicken breasts (one to take home), my husband had the pork chops (one to take home), and my youngest had the chicken tenders. It was a wonderful dinner, and as we were leaving, we spoke to one of the owners about our experience. All of the staff was very friendly. Make a reservation, and you get seating immediately. Great job Side Porch!
