Located right at the wharf. Went here twice with no reservations. Hosts were very welcoming. First time we went early afternoon and sat at the bar and had drinks and appetizers. Oysters were delicious. Great wine list. Second visit we went again with no reservations at 6pm. We were seated in the outdoor dining area. Service top notch. Dinner was delicious (a la cart). Beautiful views of the boats and yachts. Very professional staff! If you want to eat inside, you need a reservation. Enjoy

Cru is exactly what you expect it to be. Upscale location with beautiful views of the wharf and expensive yachts of Nantucket. Drinks are good, the food is good, the waiters are intelligent and friendly and quick.

Have dined here many times in the past. Very disappointing in today’s meal. Service did not meet expectations. Ordered an appetizer. Never arrived at our table. When we canceled it as we did not want it after our meal, arrived as meal meal being served and returned the appetizer. Mussels arrived cold and without a fork or a bowl for the shells. They were very cold. Return muscles to the kitchen. Drinks took at least 20 minutes to 30 minutes each round. Chowder and lobster rolls were delicious. Canceled our dinner reservations for this week.

From the second, I stepped into the place I knew it was a place that would be unforgettable. The time I received my fresh rolls, to my freshly made drink St. Germain spritz I knew this was a throwback to a time where service is important, and experiences are even more important. My dinner is a squeeze it lobster you can’t forgive only the best. You know the saying…When in Roman act like the Romans, do… order the best and experience the best.

The atmosphere is definitely the only reason this place is in business. When I made the res I wrote that it was our 10 yr anniversary and we would have loved a on the patio. When we got there they tried to give us a table Inside squeezed between a million people. I asked again if we can get an outdoor table because were celebrating a 10 yr anniversary and wanted to make it special… they did after 15 minutes, which was nice but still… no special dessert or anything… the drinks were THE WORST I’ve ever had for the price. $22 drinks should taste phenomenal and it tasted like something my 6 year old could make. The food was just ok. We had a better tasting lunch and drinks at the beet cafe place. This place was nothing special AT ALL. Very disappointed :/
