The good was Amazing. The enormous amount of joy I had eating the food.. the kabob chicken and beef lamb mix was amazing . I finished everything on my platter . The bread the served with the hummus was the delicacy. The chocolate lava cake was our dessert. The experience of this lunch was really Good . Highly recommended if you like food and relaxing environment.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, and great food. The soups are my favorite. Lentil, barley, ash reshteh, I’ve tried them all. The gyro is one of the best I’ve ever had. The ice cream is also delicious. Been here several times and always enjoyed it.

the irani lady who is the host and serves the food as well, was really good and explained everything about food. We got a hot eggplant dish that was served with really good fresh bread.. this dish was so delicious and comforting.. we had taken wine with us and enjoyed this dish, for main course i got chicken soltani .. the kebabs here are one of the best, soft and juicy.. they serve it with special irani rice which had small berries in it with some saffron flavored rice as well. .. loved the food and hospitality .. baklava was good too! I would be happy if they had more vegetarian options in main course, as my husband doesn’t eat meats. Loved the food

Ok.. I don’t even know how to rate this place. My husband and I were in the Rutherford area and hungry and we went here. I am a strict vegetarian and I told the lady server the same and she suggested a dish based on the same.. told me it had beans and vegetables and no meat. The food I was served had meat and this I realized when I found strands of meat(most likely beef) in it but by that time I had already had tasted a bit of it. While the server asked us not to pay for the food we still paid cause that’s just not us. All I can say is this was by far the worst experience I had in a restaurant. Everyone needs to respect each other’s choices and religious practices and what happened with me was a nightmare. The restaurant is lucky I am not suing them for this behavior.

I am a Persian girl so I know Kobideh so well. Their kobideh taste like Iranian one. Their portions is big enough and their service is perfect. The waiter name was Elham and she was so accommodating and nice. They had a variety of Iranian food with really good price. It is a very nice place if you want to introduce Iranian food to someone or want to enjoy an Iranian meal. They also how some other stuff to sell and it was perfectly nice restaurant. I will definitely go back there and try more.

I am not someone who posts review but i am compelled to leave a review this time. I must say that the food was AMAZING but the server was as bad. I believe her name was Ilal (I had to ask as she was so rude) if I heard it correctly. She was rude and clearly discriminated. There were 3 tables in a restaurant and out of 3 our table was the only table with Indians. As we were in rush we tried to put the entire order in but she did not take our dessert order. When we called her for something we had the question about she just said “let me finish what I am doing” and she was literally doing nothing other than standing at the desk and the same moment when the other table called, she went right away. She did not clear our appetizer plates but we saw her doing it on all other tables before the food came in. Our table also did not get the onion salad that every other table had it. Our food that we ordered was supposed to come with soda and she did not even ask for it unless one of colleague saw the menu again and asked her and then she said “yes, tell me what you want”. In the end she was doing all the other stuff including just standing idle at the desk but did not come in to take our dessert order even though I tried a couple of time and she just kept avoiding the eye contact. I am not sure if she is the owner herself but if not, I would like the owner to know that business get a hit when the treatment is not right. I did not feel welcomed at all. Her tone was rude as well. Food was amazing but experience was bad and that makes me not want to ever go there again or even refer someone there. My husband works as Restaurant manager in the food industry for over a decade now and I understand very well how this industry works and customer service is very important. I am not sure what was her deal to be discriminating but it felt really bad to be treated like this. Maybe she needs some training. I must REPEAT, food was AMAZING and would recommend people to only do a take out to try the food but not actually sit and eat there. Good luck.

I would rate this restaurant 10 out of five if I could. The best Persian restaurant I have ever been in. The food is always fresh and tasty with high quality ingredients. The restaurant manager, Fereydoon, is very professional and make your food experience great and personalized. We tried different kababs, lamb shank, gheyme and ghormesabzi: they were all delicious. Highly recommended.
