I split a platter with my sister-in-law, and everything on it was incredible! I don’t usually eat tostones, but I wish I had more of these spotted tostones. I’m definitely going back next time I’m in town

Found this place today because Madroños was closed due to a gas leak next door. The churrasco was the most tender I’ve ever had and perfectly flavored. The gallo pinto was great and the yuca frita was literally the best I’ve ever had. The tres leches was delicious as well. Zero complaints. Service was excellent in a clean, colorful atmosphere. Can’t wait to return.

Enjoyed the food, especially the punta de filete jalapena, the meat with a creamy jalapeno sauce.

My husband and I are Nicaraguan and were a little skeptical since we saw no one was in, but we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was amazing and we will definitely be coming back here. And it’s all reasonably priced.

Love the tostones appetizer! Steak entomatado (sauteed tomatoes) was really good, too. My son really liked the charbroiled chicken and the yuca frita (fried cassava)

Interesting new Lunch spot. They cooked a medium steak medium… which I wanted. The fried pork with boiled cassava was good to. This restaurant is new , but was fairly packed for lunch. Will go there more often. I liked the atmosphere and the food was cooked the way I like it. It was also seasoned.

The food was top notch, my churrasco came out perfect. I always love queso frito with my Nicaraguan dishes and they make some of the best ones. Highly recommend this place! Authentic Nicaraguan cuisine and nice family atmosphere and great service.

Wifey and I decided to try this place I was in the mood for fritanga but the 2 places by 104 ave were only takeout so as we were trying to decide we spotted (no pun intended) this little place. We started with appetizer tostones which were delicious, we were in the mood for meat so played it safe and ordered the carne asada accompanied with gallo pinto (red bean rice) yuca, plantanitos maduros, and the signature repollo (coleslaw) Everything was delicious, hot, and cooked perfectly. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. It wasn’t incredibly busy so we got our food fast, and reasonably priced. Try it out.

Very clean and awesome customer service. The Carne Asada was delicious along with all the sides. I also tried the Cacao and it was so smooth and creamy, very refreshing. The only thing is that it was a bit pricey compared to traditional Nicaraguan food but its worthwhile considering the meat was cooked to perfection and it’s just overall delicious food. Highly recommended
