Haven’t been here to get food in awhile and tonight definitely reassured me that I’m not missing anything!!! The shrimp fried rice had about 5 shrimp,eggs looked terrible,no bean sprouts,egg foo young was horrible. Cantonese shrimp were hard!! Called Chinese Chef and the phone is not accepting calls.. Threw it in the trash and they can keep that $35,NEVER EVER AGAIN. PLACE LOOKS DIRTY,NEEDS SOME PAINT AND BLEACH. The family photo on the wall has faded and they won’t even take it down. This place has about 25 signs on the window,JUST GHETTO. This place use to be nice. They give you garbage food and could care less about presentation. Good luck Chinese Chef…

$57 and I had to throw it all away! I truly am giving this place one star because you can’t give 0 stars. The food had a bad taste. I thought it was just me. The next morning my frige stunk. The food was completely spoiled. I don’t know if they mix good food with food that had been sitting but I order egg foo young and it went bad the next day. I called to report this and all the lady said was I’m sorry. Well I am sorry too. I will never go there again. Please read the reviews before you order! They all say the quality of food is trash.

This used to be one of the best places for Chinese food but its changed so much and is not that good. The pepper steak was mostly pepper and onion. You could count on one hand how many pieces of steak was in it the steak was rubbery. The fried rice was hard and the chicken sticks were about the size of a finger. Definitely not worth the price anymore and the flavor was almost there, but Id drive a ways to find something else next time.

I’ve been going to Chinese Chef. for a long time. Since covid 19 the prices have gone up and the quality of food has gone down. I ordered shrimp egg foo young. And beef and broccoli the egg foo young only had 3 Shrimp the Patty was extremely huge. Full of vegetables The beef and broccoli have more broccoli then steak. If you are a vegetarian this is the place for you don’t waste your money.

So I have to say the shrimp fried rice is the best I’ve had in the city since China taste closed . Order ahead because there’s alway a bit of a wait because everyone in the area and not cones here because the food is really good ! I don’t know where the bad reviews for taste are coming from I haven’t found a better shrimp fried rice anywhere and I travel a lot .
