One of the best Taco places in Glen Burnie. I tried chicken Taco and Tamales. They taste really good. The salsas were a bit spicy but tasted really good on the tacos. I would definitely go here when I am in the area and also try other menu options.

FANTASTIC food. The service was great and the food came out quickly. It is carry out only, but the folks live pretty course by so it worked out great. The food was not spicy but there is salsa verde and a red sauce they provided that were both very spicy to me (I don’t do spicy at all). The flavor was great on the chicken and the prices are very reasonable. The queso dip was about a pint and was very good. I will definitely be back there again.

Best Mexican food in Maryland. They stopped giving free spicy salsa too! Boo! We’ve gone here over a dozen times and this most recent trip the food was just… off… lacked flavor. Hopefully a one-off experience. Will update.

I’m not sure how it’s possible for their food to be so good! The shrimp tacos are out of this world and the guacamole (I get it spicy) is amazing and so fresh! I never leave reviews but I can’t not talk about how good and authentic El Pilar is! The only bad thing is they have ruined tacos for life! Every other taco is subpar now and I have to drive an hour to get these! GET THE SHRIMP TACOS AND GUACAMOLE!

My first time trying the food here and it was amazing. I loved the quesabirra special. I would buy this all the time if it was always on the menu . I also tried the guacamole and loved it as well. The chips were alittle thicker than I expected but were just fine. I can’t wait to try other dishes.

This was my first time visiting El Pilar and it was a good experience. I had the QuesaBirria tacos and they were very tasty. The broth/consomme served with them was flavorful and not too oily. The tacos were a bit soggy by the time I got home, but I still enjoyed them. Would be perfect if they had a crisp.
