I think the atmosphere was really nice and Texan/western. The food was kinda mid and I got fries with my steak and I was not impressed because kid you not they gave me like 5 singular steak fries (I added pictures and I swear I only took one bite of my steak because I forgot but this is what the steak comes with if you order steak fries). Sucks that they charge you for switching out your salad and beans. I also felt that the steak was really good but I wished there were roasted jalapeños or like more salt/pepper added. It wasn’t bad or anything and I would come again but I wasn’t particularly impressed.

Just okay. It was a nice piece of meat and cooked well. There’s two issues. First is the price. Pricing places this restaurant in Wendel’s price range. It doesn’t measure up. Next is the taste. Whatever is used as a rub is bitter. Same goes for the asparagus. Waitress didn’t seem prepared and they were out of our first choices of beverages. … won’t be back.

Took the family to this steakhouse. We had the grilled chicken breast, pork chop, hamburger, and kids pizza. The food was great. Our pork and chicken dishes were supposed to come with a salad which we never got, but I chose not to make a big deal about it.

My girlfriend and I visited Y’alls while in NM for dinner. We were seated quickly (only one other couple in the restaurant at ~5PM). It did take a bit for the server to ask for our drink orders as well as our food orders, but the food itself did not take too long to be brought out. We both ordered a medium-rare ribeye steak, I ordered a loaded baked potato as my side and she ordered fries. We got the steaks “New Mexico Style,” which I enjoyed but my girlfriend did not. The steak is smothered in pepper jack cheese and green chiles (my GF thought there were too many chiles on hers). Steak was cooked as ordered and the potato was great! My GF also enjoyed her fries.

Enjoyed our first meal here today for lunch. There was a line of waiting customers at the front door 15 minutes before they opened, so it was good we got there a little early for lunch. We were promptly seated and Amy was our very delightful server; she was very sweet and helpful. We tried their steak burger, pork chops, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, green beans, and fried okra. Everything was good, but we thought the fried okra and fries could use more cooked-in seasonings. The steak burger was correctly cooked to order, moist and hot when Amy brought it to our table. The pork chops were moist but just a little tough, but had good flavor on them. Mashed potatoes were legit, not out of a box, and the green beans were cooked with onion and real bacon and real garlic without overcooking them. There were a lot of flies inside the restaurant and we kept swatting them away and that’s about the only negative thing we can say. We would for sure eat here again, but hope they get the flies under control, especially since we were there when they opened at 11am and there really should not have been that many of them.

I’ve tried eating here multiple times but get let down every time. I don’t understand how we ordered 3 identical steaks cooked the same yet all three were cooked wrong. 2 of the mediums were very well done and the other was medium rare. The one positive was our waitress was very nice, unfortunately another lady who I assume was maybe the owner or manager didn’t like something she did and started yelling at her in front of all the customers. Very unprofessional. Definitely won’t return here, how does this “Steakhouse” mess up multiple steaks?

The staff was great! Friendly and very attentive. We had a large party. I had the 8oz bacon-wrapped tenderloin served New Mexico style with roasted green Chili’s and jalapeno jack cheese on top which was cooked perfectly with an amazing. The rest of my party was gawking at my plate. I will be back for sure.

As a single person it’s nice to get great service. I had the chicken fried steak and it was good. There was plenty of food and I had to take part of my meal home. I also took a BlackBerry cobbler home for later. It was tasty. I wish I could afford to eat steak again, but it doesn’t seem likely.

The family was coming back after a long road trip and stayed the night in Alamogordo we noticed the steak house near the hotel decided to give it a try. Best decision of the whole road trip. Y’alls Steakhouse is the incredible! We had the pleasure of being taken care of by Michelle. She was amazing! Excellent service very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious! The cook George was perfect! Best steaks we have had outside of Texas! Some of the best steaks we have ever had actually and I grill a mean steak myself every other week. I’d recommended Y’alls Steakhouse to anyone and everyone who wants a delicious meal! Thank you! We will be back!
