Ate lunch today at the new Local BBQ behind Chuy’s in Tyler. Very Good! I am a big fan of Stanley’s so I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did. It’s a different flavor, more smoky and sweet. The mac and cheese was awesome as well. Very good.

Really really good. Second visit so first time wasn’t a fluke. Sliced brisket sandwich potato salad husband had some messy concoction with really good queso on brisket and sausage. While the atmosphere is not as unique as Stanley’s food is a tad bit better and less expensive

The atmosphere is really cool and clean. We had the pulled pork potato, pulled pork nachos & turkey sandwich. Everything came out super fast, and was very tasty. They came by several times to check on our table. Really enjoyed our visit, will be back.

Underwhelming to say the least. The Turkey sandwich was really wet? As someone mentioned, tasted like it was cooked in a crock pot rather than smoked. “The Beast” may as well be the “Wallet Beast”. No sides, but a 12.00$ sandwich after tax, crazy.

I had a chopped beef sandwich. The bun and meat were pretty dry and the sauce did not help much. The local tots were very good, I don’t think I had ever had anything like them. The young lady working the counter seemed to want to be any where but there.

It is so wonderful to have a great BBQ restaurant close to the home. Their brisket and turkey is wonderful. I got a BBQ salad and a sampler to try different things. Their spicy beans are so good. I am looking forward to come back with friends and enjoy the bar. They have a wonderful patio setting that would be the most perfect brunch or lunch place.

Brisket good but little dry, bun dry and almost hard and cold. Sauce plain is too spicy, would not want the one marked spicy. BBQ nachos more chips and not much beef. Prices gone up!
