Good spread of tapas dishes, average service in a busy location. Can’t complain about the ambience, date night worthy if not for the tight seating. We ordered mostly hot tapas and they delivered, taste and quantity (for tapas!). The Spanish wines on the list and a Spanish lager were unique and worth trying. Easy parking. Fewer but delicious vegetarian options if that’s what you prefer.

I had a positive experience overall at Castilla. The ambiance was nice, although it could get crowded at times. We tried various tapas plates, and the bacon wrapped dates stood out as the highlight with their delicious flavor. While the calamari tenders were a bit soggy, the Paella Mixta was a generous portion and satisfying for four people.

The server was excellent in recommending the dishes. This place gets fairly busy so the waiter forgot the boxes and had to hunt down.

The food here is amazing. Stumbled across it after shopping at Bel Square. I ate the bacon wrapped dates and my eyes rolled back in my head. Am thinking of ordering another order to take out! The service is laid back and lovely. The atmosphere is quiet and mellow – but I was there for a late lunch. There are some tables near the open windows for nice weather but there is traffic. The wine list has some delicious and unusual selections. 100% would return.

Food is average. Don’t expect to be wowed. The service is poor. The place was packed for dinner. With reservations it still took 15 minutes to be seated in the bar area. Tons of vegetarian options. The vegetarian paella was just a bunch of flavorless vegetables. Bellevue has a ton of restaurants this is not the best value. Drinks are good but $16 for a gin and tonic you can make for $4.

I’m really surprised to see this restaurant has rating only 4.3, as I think this place deserve to have more.

Everything is tasty and quite expensive. The mixed paella is a must have. The beef medallions and grilled octopus are so tender. Bacon wrapped shrimp and bacon wrapped dates are surprising but taste great. The empanadas were ok.

So very disappointing. The paella is supposed to be the star of the meal but the seafood paella just fell flat. Very bland, the seafood pieces were chewy, and there were no crispy bits at the edge/bottom of the pan. It was an absolute disaster.

Fantastic and cozy Spanish tapas restaurant in the heart of downtown Bellevue. Food is fresh and has lots of choices to sample different dishes. Plenty of vegetarian choices that are actually good. Great wine selection. Best staff that do not hurry you.
