Excellent food, service and ambiance. The perfect place to entertain clients. As realtors on Maui it’s important that we know the sweet spots on Maui and Cafe o’ lei at the plantation is exactly that, Sweeet! I love the papaya shrimp salad and my wife loves the fish and chips. This is a Maui – not to miss!

Came here for lunch on a whim and the plantation looks amazing, with incredible mountain view’s. The food was just ok, nothing special. We had crab cakes, French dip sandwich and the chicken sandwich. Our server was incredibly nice and patient, as we had lots of questions about the menu.

Wish I could rate this 10/10 stars. Beautiful view. Delicious food and drinks. Stunning grounds to visit and walk. Cute shopping center located right on the grounds…was able to get all the ingredients for a guacamole! And everything was so fresh

The portions here are huge, and we were full just from the appetizers, which were as big and cost as much as regular dishes. The environment was nice too, with two full-sized train cars as decorations. Staff was friendly and asked us if we enjoyed our meal multiple times. I would recommend the flatbread pizza, which had nicely balanced flavor and buttery blobs of cheese on top. Make sure sit away from the open door, as some flies may get into your food.

This place was absolutely stunning. I loved the atmosphere and the garden. The food was delicious too, except the onion soup in which I had high expectations was far too salty for me and the keiki meal was too lousy compare to everything else. Kids enjoyed the presentation of mini malasadas though. In the garden we saw lots of ducks and chicks and goose including a handsome nene goose. Overall we surely enjoyed our visit here and would recommend this place to anyone visiting Maui.

Cafe O’Lei at the Plantation is a hidden gem that you don’t want to miss. The Ahi Nachos are delicious and the Crab Cake Benedict is a must-try. The best part of the cafe is the view overlooking the mountains – it’s serene and breathtaking. One thing to note is that the cafe is located behind the Plantation Store and can be hard to find as it doesn’t have a big sign. It’s also known as The Mill Cafe.

Came here for brunch and it was amazing! Good food with even better views, I couldn’t ask for much more! The guava lemonade is one of the best drinks I think I’ve ever had. And after we ate we walked around the grounds a bit and stopped in the store for some local coffee, tea, and artwork. Definitely worth the trip, I would dine here again in a heartbeat!

Really picturesque spot on the plantation. Stopped in on a whim to encounter the happy hour menu around 4pm. Cocktail of the day was a good price and so were the beers and appetizers. Food was decent for the happy hour price, but probably wouldn’t want to pay much more for it. Nice service and attentive

Great view/atmosphere, delicious cocktails… if you make it pass gatekeepers (aka hostesses). I’ve gone here multiple times. Every time I walk up to an empty bar/restaurant with easily over 50 tables. There are three hostess that “greet” you at the front, only to let you know that they are “full”, and that you’ll have to wait. Even when Ive made a reservation, the hostess will continue the charade of pretending that they are at capacity, and unable to serve you. They claim they are short on a wait staff/bartenders, yet the three hostesses will continue to chat with each other while insisting you wait. I get the impression that this restaurant/bar doesn’t actually want the business. I feel conflicted as it is a nice spot, and I would be a regular if it wasn’t for a hostile hostess.

The food was amazing. I order the shrimp linguine and onion soup. YUM! My husband loved the burger. He also loved the guava lemonade. The view is amazing toooo. However the service was pretty slow and they forgot a few things. Would 100% come back since I am sure they’ve had some staff issues like other service industry places post covid.
