The regular salsa is straight marinara sauce, fit for spaghetti. I purchased it to-go, served it to my friends, but we couldn’t eat it. I have dined in the restaurant in the past, and always had to add more of the bottled sauces to add flavor to the salsa — now I know why. Their food is phenomenal, just don’t have any expectations for the salsa. I spoke with management and tried to suggest more salsa ingredients but he didn’t want to hear any of that.

The staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a family run business. There’s plenty of parking. It’s handicapped accessible. The salsa and chip are always a great appetizer. The portions are very good for the price. I’ve always had a good meal with left overs. They have a large bar and party room for larger groups.

Don Tequilas has your typical TexMex food you’ve been sure to have had 50 times before. It’s good but average compared to most sit down Mexican restaurants. Where this place makes up for is the speed and quality of service. The staff is super friendly and always checkup to make sure your taken care of.
