This place has wonderful food with good flavor and reasonable prices however during the dinner rush they still had stail soft chips and thin queso. The second basket was better though. Everyone was rushed but still very friendly! They were clean, the cleanest Mexican restaurant I’ve seen in Winchester and I’ve almost been to them all.

Food was good, not too crowded, only complaint I have is I felt something under the table on my shoes and I had stepped in some food under the table that got all over my shoes that I was not happy about. I didn’t look under the table because it was a booth and was dark under there, but would like for them to look and make sure people don’t track stuff on their shoes from others

My family and I have been coming to La Carreta nearly my whole life! We’ve watched this place go through multiple generations of family and they truly make us feel like we’re right at home every time. It’s been our absolute favorite place in town for so long, and for good reason. Their food is hot and fresh and so delicious. I love so many things on their menu, so you really can’t go wrong with anything, but do yourself a favor and try the carnitas, you won’t be disappointed!
