Hands down the best Mexican food I have ever had in my life. Heck, maybe the best food in general I’ve ever had. My wife and I were in disbelief at how amazing it was. Best guacomole we’ve ever had, Fresh delicious ingredients, good service, just an awesome little restaurant. Beats the socks off of the other Mexican restaurant down the street!

Best Mexican in St. Louis IMO. I started going here about 10 years ago with the recommendation of a friend who lived in Mexico. He said, it was like going home. So, I went & was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed was the incredible salsa. Obviously home made (confirmed after many years of receiving a slightly different variation), it tasted very fresh & complex. The chips were freshly fried. That alone is enough to make me come back. But noooo, they didn’t stop there. I’ve had about 90% of their menu & every single thing I ordered was a cut above the rest. It’s a shame really. I can’t eat at another Mexican restaurant & enjoy it anymore (well, I will give kudos to Pueblo Nuevo). I drive 25 minutes to get here & it’s worth it. I eat here at least once a month. If you’re lucky, they will be having a fiesta or mariachi guy. Service has always been polite & quick. Atmosphere isn’t romantic, but it is quaint & likable. Prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality.

This was my favorite restaurant for almost 8 years before we moved out of town. We just came back for a visit after 5 years away and it’s still amazing.

I’m from florida and I travel a lot. I like seeking out the locally owned mex restaurants. I have to say that this one not far from the airport is better than most as far as the food goes…. I loved the green verde dip they bring out. The steak nachos were really rather tasty. Service was good. So why three stars? Well… I am bit of a sanitary nut and when I began to notice that the waiter uses his hands to fill the chip bowls it kinda put me off finishing the half bowl I had already eat. Oh and no washing… His hands touched everything from register and money to fridge handles… Sooo makes me wonder a out the cooks in the back… Too bad…. Really would have like to give five stars… Probably wont be back…

I’ve been here a few times. It’s one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town. The enchiladas verdes are very good here. The salsa is great, too!
