My friends and I had a terrible experience. We went there to celebrate our friend’s birthday, we expected warm welcoming and good time. At the beginning, the staff offered drinks politely and we were happy. However, at the end the we’re looking at strangely and behaved in away to kick us out. We are extremely disappointed and didn’t expect such low level of customer service.

Just your standard Chinese buffet. The food tasted somewhat basic and although it was fresh, it seemed lower in quality. Though they do have quit a bit of variety with Pho and Chinese noodle soups, the taste was not very authentic. The Mongolian grill, however, seemed fresh. Shrimp and beef stir-fry were tasty as well.

This is probably the best Chinese buffet I’ve visited east of the Missouri River! The food is always hot and fresh because everyone loves it! Most of the time you can get right in with little waiting, but occasionally I’ve had to wait a bit. No problem with that, just means that it’s fresh and hot because they’re always refilling it. They have a huge selection of stuff from Chinese favorites to seafood to American style dishes. Salad bar, hibachi grill, you name it. You could come here every night of the week and not try it all! And the price it still well under $20 to boot! Only complaint is that it’s often warm and humid inside, although on my last visit this weekend, it was pleasant.

So I’ve decided to take my family to eat out here today. I’m the only one who’s been working and we’ve been struggling to make ends meet. I’m still new in Iowa but my family like going to hibachi so I thought it’ll be nice to take em out for dinner. To me, the food is a step down from where I used to go in Idaho ( fried shrimp/crab taste like it’s already bad, and there’s not enough things I like to eat ) but my family likes to go so we went there to spend quality time and make memories. It went well till we’re about to leave. Even though we’ve been struggling, i still decided to leave 5.00 tips. I know it’s small considering I’ve already spend over $150.00 but better than nothing,?so I thought. I made an habit of tipping even if it’s small. Smalls can add up. But anyways, the waiter got the check and saw the tip. He came and told me they only use the tip suggestions (15%, 20%, etc. ). So I told him I can take the tip off if he wants and just leave 0. He got annoyed with me and then left and brought out two extra ticket trays so we can leave cash tips for him. Never once have I ever been treated this way or get embarrassed in such a way. For that, I’m never spending any money at that buffet again nor will I recommend it to anyone. I’m only sharing my experience because people should just be thankful for whatever they receive and not judge others. They don’t know what that other person is going through at that point in time.

Fantastic food and service. The food is always fresh. The wait staff does an excellent job serving customers. The buffet itself has scads of choices. Everything you could think of. The sushi bar and hibachi grill are also excellent.

Great atmosphere with tons of options when it comes to food. It’s a very pleasant buffet. I enjoy the variety of sea food and also sushi. Also make some great orange chicken and traditional chicken dishes. Make leeche jello which is not common but very good.

Used to be great food everytime. Recently has been a hit and miss…. take your chance. Price is not worth the quality that it averages out. We went there tonight and is now at $16.99/person…. middle of the week. More than it used to be on the weekends. I get inflation and all, but still get a better meal at other restaurants for that price.

Hubby wanted Pho and I wanted choices. Well played. He loved his soup and everything else. When we pulled in (in a larger truck), I was nervous about finding parking. 6pm on a Saturday night it was very busy. We are moving closer to DSM, so we might be able to come here more often . Hubby is very picky, so if he is happy, we good!
