Had a great first-time experience here last night. Ordered Takeout for 3 people and it was some of the best BBQ we’ve had in awhile, not to mention they had it ready within 15 minutes and it was affordable. The meat, sauces, buns, mac n’ cheese, hush puppies, cornbread, honey butter, etc. were all amazing. The girls at the counter were all friendly and the whole restaurant felt like you were at home. We will definitely be back!

I ate Bo Mack’s for the first time today. They sat us quickly, service was good and they continued to offer refills on beverage. I ordered the plate with pulled pork, slaw and the beans. They served me a nice portion of pulled pork that was well cooked and not soaked in a sauce. At the table they had 3 sauces to choose from. I sampled them all and went with the extreme. The beans had a nice smokey flavor and the slaw was average. I also enjoyed sitting at my booth smelling the smoke. It made fell like I was a nice BBQ place. Wife ordered the chicken sandwich. She was disappointed they served only boneless thigh. I tried a piece and thought it was good. They could have had a little nicer bun to serve it on for the price. Her mashed potatoes had that home cooked flavor. I will be eating here again.

This place has good tasting food, but is way overpriced. After living in Florida for 3 years, I’ve been to quite a few BBQ places, and this place doesn’t hold a candle to any of them in terms of value. In Florida there are numerous all you can eat BBQ places, including mix and match meats and unlimited mix and match sides, for reasonable prices such as $10-11. Here, I got a mediocre amount of food for $11.50. The sides I got were nothing to write home about. I tried the sweet potato tots and the mac & cheese. The tots were good, but they were miniature and I got about 12 of them. It was hardly enough to call a side. The mac & cheese was okay, but I’ve had far better other places, and the quantity on this was pretty skimpy as well. The meat I got was brisket, which was very good and the quantity was reasonable. Complementary cornbread was nice, service was good, and atmosphere was fine, but I doubt I will be going here again due to the price in comparison to the amount of food you get.

Excellent BBQ Brisket and Pork!!! All the sides are super and taste Wow!!! It’s our family’s favorite place to get dinner and always more than can be finished by 4 people, so 2 days of delicious BBQ Brisket, corn bread, potato salad, coleslaw, and Wow beans with Brisket in them!!!!! Super place with great food and great service!!! Family owned and operated!!!

I used to LOVE Bo Macks when they were downtown on 1st street, used to go in there and over eat until I couldn’t take another bite. Always got take out there too. It was always busy. But then they moved to the freeway. I got used to it. Only got take out. They removed some of the things I liked from their menu (corn, green beans), but still loved their food and love them; such sweethearts. But then they move downtown to a busy street and close at 4:00 in the afternoon. Really? First no one can find you, there’s no parking, the storefront is unappealing and when I get done with my day you are closed 🙁

We went to Bo-Mack’s with a recommendation on how great the food was. For $48 we got 2 small pieces of boneless chicken and 5 slices of brisket for 4 people to share. It came with a bowl of potato salad, bowl of baked beans and a bowl of coleslaw. The food was tastee but I would have never bought a $12 plate of food with 1/2 piece chicken and less that 2 slices of brisket for $12 per person. My daughter said that the last time she had gone there they got 4 pieces of chicken (1 each) and 2 brisket slices each, she was shocked at the small amount of food we were served. The service consisted of the hostess seating us and also taking our order. The waitress assisting with delivering the food and then a 1 time is everything ok within 1 minute of receiving our food. No drink refills were offered. I am always a great tipper but felt ripped off leaving her a mere 10%. IF THEY WANT RETURN CUSTOMERS THEY NEED TO GIVE A PERSON ENOUGH FOOD TO NOT FEEL CHEATED FOR THEIR $$. I WOULD NEVER SEND ANYONE THERE NOR RETURN THEIR MYSELF. The potato salad and coleslaw were delicious and had they not been so chintzy with their protein we would have been great return customers, I felt the price was fair if the amounts would have been enough to fill us up ! It is also frustrating when there were only 4 tables with customers and the owner Bo-Mack and 2 of his sisters sitting at a table talking while customers were unattended to. I wish them luck, great place to go and feel ripped off after!

This place is like going home to be with family – Mama and Malika (along with the rest of the family!) are some of the most pleasant people to be around, and their food is absolutely THE BEST BBQ in Oregon- I keep begging them to apply for one of those BBQ Pitmaster shows because they are that good. The ribs are always cooked to perfection and it falls right off the bone every time. I haven’t tasted a thing there I haven’t absolutely loved. It’s always worth the drive from Eugene for anyone who comes to visit.

Used to be among my personal favorite BBQ places,… But with their recent policy change, that limits you to only one small tub of BBQ Sauce, with any more costing, you $.50 per small tub, I’m not so much of a fan anymore. I will quit recommending Bo Mack’s to friends. Sauces and rubs are what sets BBQ places apart from each other, who has ever heard of BBQ places doing this?

This place is hit and miss. I have had incredible, amazing food before and I have had stuff I could not even finish because it didn’t taste like it was fresh. The owners and their family are super nice people though!
