I went over this morning to have some breakfast with my wife and give this restaurant a try. It looked delicious, so we ate there once we both finished our food I’d ask for a refill with my sweet tea. As my wife and I got home I drank my sweet tea and as I finished it I liked to open the top and chew on the ice. As I opened the top to the cup I saw a freaking roach!! I’m feeling sick right now and I’m going to give this place a 1 star. It is disgusting and gross. Never again will I be returning to this place!!

Good food, love their tortas and crispy tacos. The only reason for 4 stars is that their tacos have not been good last couple of times. The meat is sometimes really pink and looks uncooked. I haven’t eaten there in months because of this, which sucks cause i used to go once a week. I was hoping it was just the sauce but I cleaned the meat off and nope it is just raw.

I had the birria and a Lengua taco and my mom had the Carnitas plate special of the day. The restaurant was not crowded there was plenty of parking. The dining area had thick custom wooden chairs and tables highly varnished from Mexico. They had desserts they had lots of fresh waters agua frescas to choose from. I chose hibiscus also known as Jamaica. they let me know if the corn tortillas were not homemade. On this date they had run out. Service was attentive and intuitive they knew what we expect with our meals birria came with cilantro, onion and limes. It was a big portion enough to take home. Taco was delicious and fresh and tender. My mom‘s plate had beans and rice and both were very delicious they put chorizo in the beans.

Authentic Mexican food near to I-35. Great prices, good service, popular with the locals and that means that the parking area can get busy at times and occasional waits for a table. It’s worth a stop if you want that home cooked meal feeling.
