We did this place the 1st night on the beach. They said they were the best on the beach 6 yrs running and this year they were nominated best in the state. We tried pretty much every flavor they had between the 14 of us this night. We recommend Jr’s sauce ….Texas gold and if you like spicy the ragin Cajun. I want to give a shout out to the staff as they were very undermanned this day but handle our large group with the greatest of ease…great job guys. They get a 4 just because the sides….fries I. Particular were cold when they came out so there was that.

Arrived with 3 others (Aug 5 2023) who I dropped off at the door to get a table, then tried to find parking which took 5 minutes as the parking lot was very busy. When I came in my group was forced to wait to be seated as I was not with them. This resulted in two couples, a group of 4 and a group 7 going ahead of us and our wait increased. I realize that a group of 7 brings in more money for this restaurant, but I have never heard of such a policy, where you will not be seated since one person is parking a car. What did they think, that I would abandon my wife and in laws? Especially since we had been travelling to get to Myrtle Beach for over 15 hours by car and my wife told the host this. The host did not care. As a result we left, so my rating for the food is based on the exceptionally poor service by the host. If you are going to this restaurant, please make sure you are all together.

This no frills, hole in the wall restaurant and bar offering award winning wings and things since 1970. Location and owners have changed a number of times but their own made from scratch, secret sauces and home style cooking and German beer remain. Wings are fried in pure vegetable oil and dipped in your choice of nearly 2 dozen sauces. Sandwiches and subs, soups and salads, appetizers and burgers round out this typical bar menu. My choice this evening was the Philly Patty Melt on Texas toast with mushrooms and banana peppers. Loved the ample amount of tasty, thin layers of Philly steak, melted cheese on perfectly grilled thick slices of Texas toast. Add on was crispy, curly fries that came, like my sandwich, piping hot. Simple presentation, good flavor, quality and quantity a plus. Miranda was on her A game and made us wanting to come back.

Moved to MB 2years ago and finally tried fat jacks , OMG Love them and you won’t believe the size of fried mushrooms. We continue to go here for our wings and excellent sides like fries .

Wings were amazing, but the customer service was horrible. Gratuity was added automatically because we were a table of 5, even though 2 of the 5 were kids. Waitress didn’t ask and assumed the ticket was all together. Then, they said they could just split it down the middle. Not the solution we needed. If you’re going to automatically charge gratuity, make sure the service reflects what you’re charging. I understand the waitress was in training, but the training waitress did little to help the situation. Do better.

Took almost an hour to get wings and there was only about 10 people in the place. Waitress was great but food was just mediocre. Honey BBQ sauce was like water. Other waitress was sitting talking to someone and our waitress had to clean her tables. 18 wings w/ two appetizer combo and 2 beers was $57 with tip. Only got half of appetizer order with combo but paid same price. Won’t go back!
