Had dinner here before a show at the North Shore Music Theatre. Service was exceptional – felt at home and the staff kept us entertained every time they came by. We had a variety of apps, entrées and deserts and not a single one disappointed. Drinks were great as well with a ton of creative cocktails, a healthy selection of local beers and a long list of wines to pair. Highly recommend.

Been here a few times, but this last time was just terrible. Got sat at a table right away. The restaurant was fairly full, as was the bar. Maybe short on wait staff, but we sat at the table for 5+ minutes without even an acknowledgement from the staff. I understand if it’s busy and you can get to me right away, but to just be ignored? Tell me you see me and that you’ll get to me in a few. Ended up at another local place. We will try this place again another day. This has to be a one off…

Just dined at The Post. A truly bad experience. First of all I require gluten free accommodations due to Celiacs. I called ahead of time to ensure I could be accommodated. Also the dinner menu clearly disclosed that many dishes could be made gluten free. First event was that my silverware was dirty. Second event, I ordered a gluten free beer, which arrived in a bottle with out a glass. Third event is that I ordered the baked haddock and it looked like it had been chewed and was clearly overcooked. Fourthly, I found corn in my mashed potatoes. Let me tell you, if you have celiac you do not want other’s food in your plate!! We were unable to gain the attention of our server. We went without water until bill was paid. My first and my last visit to The Post. Clearly not the standards of The Black Cow !!!

Took a guest and his fried fish was so bad he barely touched it. Thought he just wasn’t very hungry but when I asked him he said it seemed it had been fried yesterday and again today. Rating would be one star except I had previously had a good experience.

Wouldn’t go back! I expected more and was disappointed! My sister ordered the nachos and we make them WAY BETTER at home! Burger was way under cooked! They best part of the meal were the fries! Sad but true! The cocktails weren’t even good…pumpkin tini sand red sangria. Hopefully more people have positive experiences!
