Flying from Chicago…..this place was on my list and the taste of pizza is just delicious…. They are so friendly. Just to help take cash as they don’t accept card. I wish we have this one here in Illinois.

It’s a typical 99c pizza place. I’ll give it props because there’s less and less $.99 places left. It’s a dying breed. But I’ve definitely had better $.99 pizza. Very little use of sauce and I’ve had much better tasting $.99 pizzas in Manhattan. In a quick fix though, you can’t beat it.

I’ve been going here for about 5 years. When I went on July 24th at 10 pm, they tried to scam me. I ordered 2 large pies, which are only $8 dollars each. Yet I was charged $20. Although I my change back only after the employee got angry. This is my the first time this has happened to me at this spot. The owner should hire employees to treat the customer with respect.

The name says it all. For a dollar you’ll get a regular slice. The crust is not so thick and not so thin. It’s just enough to fit in. The dough is not hard, not burnt. In one word it’s delicious. Recommended if you’re looking for a cheaper alternative from across the street

The atmosphere makes sense. What doesn’t make sense is that they had $1.75 per slice as their updated price on the board and charged me $2.50 for a slice of cheese pizza and did not give me back my change of 50 cents. Five minutes later a guy comes in and orders a slice of pizza for $1.

Perhaps one of the last 99 cent pizza shops in New York City. I wouldn’t give up great pizza for this but if you’re short on cash and really hungry this will do for a dollar.

Still true to the name, 99 cent for a large slice cheese pizza. You do get what you pay for, light on the cheese, and forget about getting any personalized extra toppings on individual slices, it’s “whatever they have made”. Good for a snack, street food, and seems busy enough to guarantee freshness.

Don’t want to go against the grain here, but we ordered 6 slices here: cheese, Hawaiian, mushroom and BBQ, while the first two were good, the last two were awful. The mushrooms were just thrown on top of a cheese and were clearly pre-cooked. The BBQ was smothered in way too much low-quality BBQ sauce and wasn’t good. Cash only too, which is a PITA and unnecessary bc they do doordash etc so clearly could take credit.
