The idea of creating a Peruvian + Mexican kitchen happened because the cultures merged in our family creating a combination of flavors, techniques and dishes in our gatherings.
After 10 years admiring and learning from Peruvian cuisine we decided to follow this dream and share with our comunity what we cook in casita.

A great, little restaurant! Fusion of Mexican and Peruvian food. Awesome service and super attentive. On the smaller side, so either be willing to wait or make reservations. Celebrated our wedding anniversary, and my wife really enjoyed and liked the place. The food was super tasty and impressed with the dishes we had (look at pics). Will totally go back.

Food was delicious! I enjoyed the environment. The staff is super friendly and kind. The ribeye steak was the best while my friends had other dishes that looked really good but I highly recommend the Ribeye Steak cooked medium rare. It packed a punch of flavors savory and tender enough to cut. I would recommend this dish if you are in the west side area of EP.

What can I say? This place never disappoints since their grand opening, their taste and quality has not gone down! I didn’t even have time to take pictures and we had ale ready devoured our food and the waitress had taken my husbands plates. We had the elotes as a starter, my absolute favorite appetizer! I had the lomo saltado and the steak was cooked perfectly, had a vast amount and the tomatoes were ripe. My husband had the aguachiles and fish tacos and he said both were amazing! Good job amar!

This was excellent the food looked exactly like the photos on the menu. The jalea de mariscos was actually MORE packed than the photo on the menu. Dessert was so good and soft. I don’t have words. In Arizona (where I’m from) I would have easily paid twice the amount and not blink. I have no complaints. Bathrooms were clean, chefs were nice…I have a full belly and will definitely be back

The food was great and service. However, for such a nice place, the tables are so close that it feels overcrowded when it’s full. But overall, I recommend it.

Excellent food, for not being a Steakhouse they had one of the best Ribeye Steaks I had in El Paso. Love the atmosphere, specially in the main room, they have a second dining room that I wish they could decorate like the main room. Waiter was struggling taking care of the whole section, but the food came out fast. We did have to wait a while to get our payment processed. The passion fruit cheesecake was excellent. Recommend

The first time my wife and I came to Amar, and wow, the food was full of flavor, and it was not heavy. My wife had the ribeye tacos, and I had the Arroz Chaufa mixto. The staff was very respectful and took care of you. The inside was clean and cool.

My dad suggested this restaurant for my birthday and I had not been here before. I called to reserve a table and they said they didn’t take reservations but they took my name and number for Saturday for six. There was a table ready for my party so I was pleased. The drink’s and food were amazing. The service was excellent. I loved how attentive the staff was. The only thing I would suggest is trying to get all the plates out at the same time. We waited a little for my dad to get his plate and we all wanted to wait for him before eating. Overall it was a great experience and would go back again.

Went on Sunday evening, and it is a small place but we didn’t have to wait to be seated. The food was great, my husband got the ribeye and I had the truffle pasta with shrimp. The food was well seasoned and flavorful. I also had the passion fruit margarita, was sweet but could still taste the tequila, which is how I like it. Overall I want to go again and try some other dishes
