First time eating here and the food is delicious. We sat on the second floor outside and we can see the Main Street while eating.

Syriana Cafe is a quaint locale in an historic building within Downtown Old Ellicott City. Not only is the atmosphere of the entire town lovely, but the restaurant itself has a mood setting feeling that accompanies every bite. And the food is delicious! A wide selection of Eastern Mediterranean delights, including enough dips to fill your pita dipping desires, Syriana Cafe remains one of my favourite places to go within the Baltimore area.

What a charming place. Food was fabulous. Fresh and delicious. We sat outside upstairs overlooking Main Street. We had the chicken shawarma and Sangrias. Everything was very tasty. The service was excellent. There is lots of parking around town.

The Syrian coffee is wonderful. They also had the best hummus I’ve ever tried. The food overall was delectable and tasted very fresh. I rarely saw my server, but it’s 3 levels and I was working on my laptop.

Hands down the chillest spot in old EC! Great food, ambiance and service. Try the chicken shawarma and cold coffee

We went here ona Friday, they had wonderful live music. The place is set very beautifully in theme. The food generally is very good. The lamb we ordered was dry and burnt, when we informed the staff they quickly replaced the lamb, however when we get the replacement, it was way better but still was a little burnt. All other dishes were really good and tasty. Just because of the burnt lamb the second time, giving this rating. I will say this is a good place to spend time with friends and family over some nice food.

If you’re in the area, it’s worth the effort to find parking. The hummus is not spicy (add your own at the table) and the olive oil is not overwhelming. The Grape leaves are served hot and are very flavorful. This is my new favorite place to eat in MD! They also have some Syrian-made rugs and table runners for sale.
