I would give one star but I’ve had better days, but This is the second time in a row that we’ve gone to Hartz (drive-thru) and the chicken tenders and fries were dryer than the Sahara Desert. You couldn’t get juice out of that chicken if you grind it through a juicer! The fries (the little they do give) were overcooked and greasy. I waited in line for over 30 minutes just to get home to this. So I called…..The manager is rude with a hundred excuses why the chicken is dry. I could have eaten a bag of salted peanuts after work and been more satisfied than what I am with my order.

Manager very RUDE!!!! I called to ask if I copied place an order over the phone because the inside was closed and I drive 18 wheeler she hung up the phone in face twice! Cleveland hartz will never get my business again! I’ll continue to give Whataburger all my money whenever I’m in Cleveland Tx.

We go out to eat often after church as a family, there were 7 of us today, & we all chose Hartz. When we got in, the only tables that were open were on the far side of the building with the fans, which would have been fine if it wasn’t miserable over there! The fans are pointless, as the thermostat read 83° at 11:43am. I walked up to the counter & asked if they could turn on the air conditioning & was told “that’s as good as it’s going to get” we were all sweating the entire time, & my husbands shirt was soaked completely through. We eventually all left because we couldn’t enjoy our meals. I can’t imagine how hot it gets in the afternoon in there!!

The buffet is always fresh and hot. the place is clean and the food taste great.I love the hot rolls . I’m going to add to my review, on my visit tonight I was all smiles coming through the door. This place is always super clean,and the Buffett is always Hot and kept fresh. I don’t even like chicken,but the owner is fined tuned to cleanliness, and great service. I have to say this is the one place to visit anytime you want a great experiance,and good hot buffet, they also have a drive through.

They need to reopen inside and get more people working there. The food is delicious and we love it. We hate waiting in a line of cars wrapped around the building to get our food once a week on average. The line of cars gets worse the later in the day you go. They seem to be seriously understaffed.

Love this place!! The chicken is huge, crispy and tender. Thus time, however, I didn’t get my fries. My kiddos were disappointed but I live 10 miles outside of Cleveland and didn’t want to drive back for fries and have everything else cold. I’m hopeful for next time.
