Absolutely fantastic sushi. Our server Tori was super attentive. The sushi, the Bento box and the Katsu Udon was excellent. The Katsu Udon was better than we have had anywhere in Tokyo or Kyoto Japan. Definitely will be back!

I had a good time here! Our server was super nice and attentive but not overbearing. The food was decent, but there were some flukes. The miso soup was good, basic, I approve. We got the hamachi kama (tuna cheek) which was cooked perfectly and super delicious! We also got the gyoza which I was disappointed in. The flavour was good, but we got them pan seared and they were lukewarm on the inside. The sauce they served them with was much too cold, you don’t want sauce paired with gyoza to be that cold (it generally needs to be atleast room temp) and paired with the gyoza not being cooked thoroughly was just uncomfortable to eat. Next up: sushi. Pretty good. We got salmon nigiri, decent quality, super big quantity. The all about tuna roll wasn’t very good in my opinion, but I also wasn’t a fan of the atomic sauce they used. It overwhelmed the flavour of everything else. The last roll was the “Dan the Man” roll which was probably our favourite, but HUUUGE. Three kinds of tuna, cucumber, and avocado. Good flavour! Just overwhelming to eat. We finished off with some matcha ice cream. It was okay. Not worth the $6. Three stars for good service, decent food, and atmosphere. Minus two stars for underwhelming quality of some of the food and insanely overpriced.

This used to be our “go-to” place, so we thought we’d stop by. This time around I had to use spare chop sticks to balance out the damn table. It may be a minor detail, but how hard is it to adjust the feet when you notice the table is wobbling? Done it many times and it’s not hard. Sushi is still very good.
