My daughter is very happy with the food and that makes it super easy on me… as I’m very picky on what she eats. Also the new ordering website is amazing and easy to use. Prices are very fair (and less than her last school), so that’s a win. 5 stars!

School was cancelled for a week due to weather. The schoolhouse grill website is horrible, so finding information there pertaining to refunds for school missed due to weather was not possible. I asked the principle of the school what was going to happen regarding refunds for lunches, and he told me to reach out to schoolhouse grill. I called schoolhouse grill and was greeted by a woman that was well versed and ready to respond to any question you asked her. Will there be a refund? She said of the 5 days, Monday and Tuesday would not be. I asked why. Her response was because they have employees they have to pay. I was stunned by her response. So I told her that not issuing a refund for services not rendered is not very typical. Her very snarky response was “Is your school going to give refunds for the days missed?”. I told her that was not a valid apples to apples comparison. She then said let’s just agree to disagree.

The food is good- my son loves it. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I was supposed to receive a credit, three calls later with promises to look into my issue and it’s still not resolved. Will definitely bring this up to my PTO so they can identify another vendor

According to my son, the food is “awesome” – he especially loves the Mac & Cheese. I contacted the school, Oakwood, to give them praises and they said “we hear that often” about their lunch provider Schoolhouse Grill. Keep up the great work! Happy child = Happy parents.
