Working with Bianca was extremely easy and she was a pleasure to work with (especially since I consider myself a highly detailed person). She answered all of my questions and offered solid recommendations from start to finish.

Used to love this place. I went there 2 days ago and got my usual 3 dip trio. They wouldn’t let me choose the dips like usual, but ok whatever. Food came out, and god, was it bad. Portion size was 1/4 of what it used to be, and the queso was full of chorizo and dripping grease. The “salsa” could be described as thick tomato soup. The manu has completely changed and the prices gone up. Really not worth the visit anymore

Great atmosphere, even better food! Ina/cook provided most flavorful Carne Asada tacos that I’ve had in a long time. The bartenders were very friendly and attentive.Cant wait to go back and tell a friend to tell a friend.

El thrifty is definitely a fun experience! We had a large group reservation so we had the game area with the couches reserved for a few hours before the crowds moved in. Their service was outstanding with very knowledgeable and friendly waitresses. The food was above average but not anything special. I had the brisket taco and shrimp taco that was seasoned well and tasty. For dessert I had the cheesecake burrito which was disappointing. Honestly it tasted like a tortilla had been stuffed with dense cream cheese and not like the delicious cheesecakes I’ve had elsewhere. They have some fun games here like duckpin bowling, basketball, board games and even a claw machine. I blew several dollars on the claw machine but got a couple of cheap stuffed animals like knockoff beanie babies. Fun place to hang out and chill. But this would not be the place to go for great food.

The staff was really magnificent! Lindsey is very exceptional at what she does and went over and beyond! Dillon, the manager was very nice and accommodating as well! Very neat place overall! Great ambiance! Also, parking is free for 90 minutes and after that it is $5.99 (I was there almost 3 hrs). I can’t recall what the price was for the whole day.

I ventured into el Thrifty on a taco Tuesday, hoping to have a decent dining experience. I attempted to explain my concerns to my server and then reach out to the establishment via their social media accounts to no avail. The cocktail I had was not well made, so I swapped for soda water and lime. The avocado taco, plantains, and guacamole were great. Aside from that, the rest of my food and experience left much to be desired. The potatoes were extremely spicey. The part of the squid dish was salty, the other bland, which is confusing how this could be.

The greeting we received when we walked in wasn’t great but let me tell you about their manager Bria who was so apologetic & turned our entire experience around. The food was so delicious. We had the snapper, steak & chicken. OMG!! Everything was so tender & flavorful. So glad we decided to stay. Our server had such a positive energy he made the experience amazing! Thank you James & Bria for the GREAT service. We will definitely be back.

Don’t go here for tacos. The corn tortillas are thick and crumble very easily. Wouldn’t have minded so much but the tacos didn’t have any real sauce or salsa so they were just super dry and crumbly. The meat was pretty decent and the only redeeming quality of the meal. The people next to us did the same as us and just ate the toppings.

Very cool spot to go play games, eat, take photos or just get drink at the bar and of course you can do all of the above. My husband, myself and our son went here for brunch. They have a Spanish style menu and offered a drink special during brunch.
