If you’re traveling I-77, this place is about 12 mins off the interstate but well worth the drive. They have menu items as well as a buffet. If you’ve had gastric bypass, they will only charge you kids price for the buffet. They have salad bar, southern style food on the main buffet, soup bar and dessert bar. The service was exceptional. Very friendly staff. We were from out of town and they provided valuable & interesting information about area events and attractions (like the massive Labor Day Hillsville Flea Market). The dining room was well laid-out so easy to navigate between aisles of tables for return trips to the buffet.

Loved it!!! It’s been years since I was little and my family and I would go here to eat all the time when I was a kid, when it was named something different. I finally went back and it hasn’t changed a bit since it’s been reopened. HOT BUTTERY steak rolls are just like a remembered. Great salad bar, the beat soft serve ice cream. Mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese was all excellent. Nothing was served bland. Every thing I tried was seasoned to perfection. Very happy I went. I’ll definitely be going back much more

Good Food Great prices. We normally order off the menu but the buffet looks very good. I just cant eat that much. Buffet prices are good too and you can get just soup and salad for 1/2 the price. Waitresses are all friendly. We have had Jennifer several times she is a sweetheart !! Also give a military/veteran discount. Glad we finally tried this place !!! Been going back at least once a week ever since !

Great southern style buffet. The fried chicken with some of the best that I’ve gotten at such buffets. Salad bar looked relatively wonderful except for the lettuce which hadn’t been eating as quickly as it needed to be. The service was really great and the mashed potatoes and green beans and sweet potatoes were delicious.

It’s OK, some good food 1 day next day not so good. We were in town for a few days and went here 3 time. The peach cobbler was very good. Restaurant was clean and waitresses were nice and very efficient. Could use some new carpet or flooring.

If you’re looking for a big buffet with lots of comfort food, then this is a great place. The fried chicken is phenomenal. The reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is that the ice cream dispenser wasn’t working when we were there without a note or anything to alert the customer that it wasn’t working and the other desserts weren’t that great.

I drive about 35 miles everytime we go there. We always get the buffet which is wonderful. My favorite is the cabbage. Sweet with a hint of red pepper spices. They also have daily specials during the week. This week it was two burgers and fries for $5. Friendly staff and plenty of food.

Food was ok. We had the buffet and there wasn’t a big choice of meat-either fried chicken, meatloaf or some kind of beef loaf that tasted institutional. The vegetables were great and the chicken was good. If we go back, I’ll order from the menu. Also, we had a heck of a time finding it with Google maps. After driving past it three times (Google said it was across the street) we did the old fashioned thing and asked a local who pointed across the street. It couldn’t be seen because it was behind another building.

The name sounds like all BBQ, but it is not!! They have a huge menu to choose from all different meats and sides, etc. They do offer bbq too. But their buffet was awesome. The sausage, pulled pork, and fried chicken was delicious! Salad bar was fresh and good. Cooked apples were very good. I could have used a few more green vege choices, but it was excellent other than that! Desserts were very good too of you’re not too stuffed to eat them after hitting the hot food bars!
