Underwhelming experience. Best part was the drinks, nice presentation and flavor variations. Very on theme with the direction of the restaurant. Food was disappointing. Beef carpaccio was as expected, as the flavor matched the description. The chicken was flavorful and was a decent rendition. The namesake rice had the burnt undertone that comes from the grease of an improperly cleaned wok. Worst was the Vietnamese coffee that came “predripped” in the glass and was weaker than a reused keurig cup.

We came, we saw, we ATE!!!!! Got lucky enough to go to the first weekend opening of DiDi in WeHo. My girls and I had an amazing meal that literally made me intentionally leave a review for the first time in years. The food was delicious, and we got lucky and the chef, Tuê (Tway), herself helped us w the food selects.Def will be back!

Food was pretty great, especially Kevin’s Phở due to their deliciously tender beef, yummy broth, good texture noodles and all the condiments added like the garlic, & Chin Su sauce & of course classic Hoisin sauce. I feel like the bone marrow didn’t add too much of a difference but that could’ve just been me. Bánh xèo tacos had a nice crunch, Viet coffee crème brûlée was amazing and my partner and I were so glad to finish off our dinner with it as it had a great toasty textured top and creamy all around.

The atmosphere’s lovely, the service is great, but the food is definitely not worth the price. We bought all the traditional plates to compare them to normal Vietnamese restaurants. Normal Vietnamese restaurants have a significantly better taste than the food here. I noticed that the pho was $65 and had a gut feeling the pho wasn’t going to be good… I was right. There was also a 4% entertainment fee and there was no entertainment at all.

The place has a great vibe! They honor our reservations and even though they were busy they were able to seat us 15 min later after our reservation time. The Pork was very undercooked. and bloody I only took two bites and the rest was thrown away! The beef that came under the entree was very fatty and extreme undercooked as well! I really wish the food could have came out better so I could give a better review. It really was just lacking. Hopefully down the road the team will be able to figure this out!

Happy with all the things we tried, fantastic twists and homages to authentic Vietnamese cuisine: beef carpaccio, crab fried rice (shout out to the toasted rice powder), ribeye, banh tieu. Also recommend the mekong garden martini, saigon smash, & hot & humid cocktails.

Great food. Super great staff. Shakkin beef was amazing, followed by the chicken wings and cold noodles. The snapper was a great dish. Exceeded my expectations. Drinks were so good. 10/10 experience.
