Great service but the food was not the authentic food I was expecting. It was heavily seasoned with soy sauce. I didn’t taste any of the other spices and flavors like you normally have with Chinese food. We ordered Kung Pao, Moo Shu Pork, and Hunan chicken. The Moo Shu pork was the driest I have ever eaten. It was full of bean sprouts and lacked the cabbage and sauce. The meat was tough and you could tell it wasn’t cooked along with the vegetables. The egg rolls didn’t have any flavor and the fried rice was basically steamed rice with soy sauce. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Friendly, clean, very pleasant atmosphere, fantastic crab puffs, orange chicken was delicious, black pepper shrimp was extraordinary. Staff was very accommodating and attentive without crowding me or making me feel pressured. If I lived closer, I’d visit often. It’s worth an hour drive though.

It’s really hard to find good vegetarian food in Houston, and this Chinese restaurant keeps it really interesting. They have their Chinese food staples in vegetarian form: dumplings, egg rolls, and noodles. And then they have their stars, like the Vegetable Manchurian (deep fried vegetable balls) and the Spicy Eggplant. Plus, their wine list is really a bonus. And if the food and wine isn’t enough of a selling point, this has been a family business for 50 years. The owners really develop a deep bond with regulars and will remember all of your favorite dishes for the next return. A total gem in Houston!

We have been customers of this restaurant for years. It’s a neighborhood institution, family owned and operated, and the dishes they serve are home made.

This has become my go to lunch restaurant. The food is fresh and hot. I’ve tried multiple items on their lunch menu and nothing has disappointed me. In fact, everything has been great. I especially like the Mongolian Beef, pictured.

This was my first time here- absolutely loved the food and the people. Employees were super attentive and were amazing overall. We were on our lunch hour and it was pretty busy, However food came out quickly and food was really hot and just tasty. Parking is small, we were very lucky that there was one spot open otherwise i would have had to leave. Glad i found one

Amazing food!! The staff is great! We met one of the owners and she spent time talking to us. Amazing! Not many owners do that. We will definitely be making the trip back to Houston just because of this restaurant.
