This place has been here for years (I think they just celebrated 100?). I remember coming here in the early ’70’s for coney dogs. Inside hasn’t changed much, very old school/eclectic. Dogs are crisp, chili sauce is spot on.

Mama Vicki’s has a rich history in Port Huron and it shows. When seated they ask if you even need a menu because most people have their usual meal they order every time. That meal? Coney dogs. Just like the name implies, the famous Coney island chili tops onions, mustand, and a perfect hot dog. I myself like to add liquid cheese for a more diverse flavor with more cheeses being available additions on the menu. Pair this up with an order of delicious thin-cut fries and you’ve got yourself a bangin’ meal. I highly recommend ordering this for your first time.

Owners wife too busy talking with friends to take orders or even greet patrons. Sat in front of her she completely ignored that we had not been waited on. Then ordered a salad and watched while he used bare hands to prepare, no tongs, twirling sliced onions on his fingers like hoolla hoops.

The food is great but really disappointed that they don’t know what a Flint Coney Island is. They only make the Detroit style wet Coney Islands with the chili. Flint has a dry hamburger filling that they oughta try cuz it’s awesome

Nothing fancy, same as it’s been for the 50+ years I’ve been going there (except for the hot dogs lined up on the old guy’s arm while being prepared). Don’t live in the area anymore, but very hard not to go there when in the area. Food is always great, wait staff friendly and attentive.

Our waitress was excellent, she knew how to joke with people that clearly were joking with her. My father asked for a half of a cony dog and that’s what he got, it was hilarious. The food was very good and typical of a cony island.
