It’s actually really solid, nothing outstanding and the portions aren’t massive or anything for the price ($11ish for everything), but it was sauced well and definitely good enough to return if I’m looking for something close by. They’re actually really smart and pack your protein on top of carrots so that they don’t soak in too much sauce and get soggy.

I walked up to order food at the counter after waiting 5minutes I noticed the two men behind the counter were ignoring me. I gave them benefit of doubt so I called from my cellphone and ordered my food. While I waited for my food one of the Hispanic male stared at me while the other cooked. When I would look back at him he would step back to hide. It was very creepy. Off side of the poor customer service the food was trash I literally threw the whole plate away. Don’t waist your time or money at this location.

Food was fast and delicious. Wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be for a place called the Dragon shack. I know to ask them to kick it up next time.

Best take out Chinese food in Austin at this price. It’s only competition on flavor and quality is PF Chang’s ($$) and Old Thousand ($$$). They joined forces with the neighboring Mexican food stand and the quality remains the same. Could not recommend more highly.

Excellent classic Chinese food… have ordered half of the menu items over time and dishes are all amazing. Served fresh out of the wok piping hot and fresh. Sesame chicken is so good, chicken and broccoli, best I’ve had. Come support these guys if you like Chinese food because it is some of the best in town.

was looking for a new Chinese spot and glad to say i found it in Dragon shack. Food truck in the north loop area that will give you 2-3 meals even if you’re hungry!!! Massive portions worth the price. The fried rice was hot and perfectly prepared as well as the general Tso’s chicken that had a great spice level and great breading. Will be back for sure!

Overpriced. Higher quality than Panda Express but very similar.

Came from 30 miles away to try this place and found no parking. Location seems to only serve neighborhood within walking distance. Also, advertises dine in. There is no dine in. It’s dine at. With picnic tables in full sun, no shade.

I’ve been let down ever since I moved from North Austin to central Austin when it came to the classic American Chinese fare but this spot is the spot that I have been looking for… for years! I think they recently opened in the last year or 2 but these guys serve me up With the exact crisp and sauce that I’ve been craving in an orange chicken or tso’s chicken. To many times have I been blindsided by soft chewy oily chicken, chicken that tasted old, over cooked chicken, under sauced chicken, over and over again but this place is The Garden of Eden itself- serving you CRISPY and SAUCY every single time.
