Opening Day in South Huntsville and Tom Brown’s did NOT disappoint! From the moment we walked in, it’s as if you are whisked away to somewhere else! The restaurant is festive, creative and unique. We were seated immediately and greeted by our waiter within 2 minutes. He was very friendly, timely and knew the menu very well. I ordered the Mahi Mahi and it was seasoned and prepared beautifully. My husband had the Bacon-wrapped Bison Filet and it was so tender and very well seasoned. Our daughter had the Beef Filet and it was equally tender and delicious. We all enjoyed the loaded baked potatoes and the mashed sweet potatoes. We finished off the evening by sharing the Molten Lava Cake…. Warm and yummy! The experience really exceeded our expectations and we will be back… Thank you Tom!

If I could rate this experience above 5 stars, I certainly would. From the moment you walk through the doors to this establishment, you are met with luxurious seating, funky decor, and top notch service. I was blown away by the attention to detail, even down to the decor in the bathrooms- which have such a great, unexpected vibe. We enjoyed the spicy balls, ahi tuna, ribeye, king salmon, and creme brulee, and EVERY morsel was delicious. In addition to the high quality of food, my husband was blown away by the generous serving sizes. We also enjoyed the margarita – which I would highly recommend (a quality margarita- not the corn syrup the kind you find elsewhere). We spent the evening laughing with our friends, receiving excellent service, and enjoying the best food I’ve ever had in Huntsville. If you are contemplating whether or not to visit this restaurant, book your reservation now! You won’t regret it- this is a fabulous restaurant, and I can’t wait to return!

My friend and I had the opportunity to visit TB’s new location in Huntsville as soon as they opened and it is just as amazing as the Madison location. The service was wonderful, the food was amazing, and Tom Brown even took the time to come check on us himself after our meal! Also, the ambience is incredible! We will definitely be back!

Overall, it was a pretty good meal. I started with the escargot, and while they were a bit small, I’m happy to say that it was the best escargot I’ve ever had, absolutely phenomenal. They served bread with the meal, and the bread was good, but I was expecting more than just two small dinner rolls. Before our entrees arrived, a different worker came out and said that our baked potatoes would be a 5-10 minute extra wait and asked if we wanted to swap to another side. The entrees with the potatoes arrived just a couple of minutes later, so I’m not sure what that confusion was about. My girlfriend ordered the ribeye, and it was seasoned well and cooked perfectly, no complaints there. I ordered the redfish. The fish itself was just okay, but the crawfish julie was fantastic. I just wish there was a bit more on top. My entree also came with a couscous that was ice cold. I was not expecting it to be served like that. The flavor of it was okay, however it’s not a pleasant experience eating hot fish and a hot baked potato to essentially eating flavored ice cubes. I would go back for another special occasion, but I would hope for the price point that those oddities would not have occurred.

From my 2 experiences dining at Tom brown’s restaurant in Madison I was immediately filled with the desire to work with them. I was blown away by the care and attentiveness we were shown by the servers, managers, and Tom hisself. When I heard about their new location in Huntsville I couldn’t wait to apply! I’ve worked in the restaurant service industry for 6 years and have never had the training like they do at Tom Browns. Tom himself trained us for 4 days and Ashley showed us the ropes that weekend. The impression I got from them at Madison was true! They are compassionate and hardworking people making incredible food in our community. From huge corporations to mom and pops diners, this is the first establishment I’ve seen where the OWNERS have put in the time and effort to make their workers the best they can be. The opportunity and support from them has been life changing!
