I genuinely get excited at the thought of dining here. I love how hot and cheesy their food can be. The only downside is that the food tastes sour every once in a while, however the service here is so excellent that it makes up for it. It’s happened twice to me where the food wasn’t tasting right to someone in my party, the waitress/waiter always kindly offers to serve an alternative dish. It’s a cozy place with many options on the menu. I really like eating here.

Tonight was the first time in years we had tried out Napoli. Our waitress “Arely” was awesome I could not have asked for a better waitress. Our drink were never empty she was able to explain any menu questions we had she was very attentive along with the hostess he greeted us with a smile as soon as we came in and was very friendly. But the food was nothing like I expected. With it being a mama and pop restaurant I expected more pride in the food served. We ordered a spinach dip was the spinach out the jar and the chips were out a bag. Nothing was horrible just very basic.

Our server was the best. Very attentative, knowledgeable, and kind as she didn’t even write down any orders she automatically remembered every detail in her head and didn’t forget anything. Food was also great. Steak cooked to order everything to perfection. The warm garlic bread they serve comes with an oil and vinegar sauce that you dip the bread in and most people aren’t expecting that but once you know you know and it’s good

I went in for a pick up order and my food was Total was $36.26 I paid with a $50 gift card so as soon as I left I went to go get gas. It only dispensed $6.49. I called the card and it say that I was charged $43.51 from the restaurant that means the host who took my payment gave herself a $7.25. I gave no tip because it was a pick up order, I did not eat there and so I don’t understand how an employee can take it upon herself and tip herself on someone else’s card. I did not come back because I picked up my food at 9.44pm so by the time I figured it out it was too late because you guys close at 10 but I think you guys really should check your staff and I will be calling in the morning when you guys are open. The food was great loved it just hate that the host did this.

It was my first time ever going, and I have to say “It was great all across the board”. It’s family owned and operated, and I have to say to the Napoli family hands down you did it and continue to do it. Your food was excellent and it’s consistent. Pricing was just as good even better then I thought it would be. Their daughter who was left to step in dads shoes so dad could be home and relax, leaving her in charge was yet another great idea/move. Because of her I felt more then welcome. Felt like we were old friends and she just beamed with love, and pride about her father, family, and all y’all have done. I stand and cheer for Napoli Italian Restaurant!! I will be back and soon and I hope to dine in this time maybe even meet the great man behind the great restaurant and great food. Oh, and for the public even if you’ve been 100 times, go again. My friend and I were there twords closing on Thursday June 8, 2023 we had the Cheese Steak. Get one I think it is the best Cheese Steak in Monroe maybe even in NC. If you’re new in town and considering Napoli Italian Restaurant for your first dining experience, I strongly advise saving your money and exploring other options. While I generally avoid leaving negative reviews, I sincerely regretted choosing this establishment. My husband and I were thoroughly dissatisfied with the quality and taste of the dishes we ordered.

First let me say the service we received was beyond acceptable. The young gentleman that waited on us was great. I was just disappointed that our food was not as good as it has been in the past. My friend’s steak was not cooked as he requested and the spaghetti didn’t have much of a taste. This is the only restaurant in Monroe that I would get my steak and mushroom melts at and unfortunately it didn’t taste anything like in the past. I’m hoping that maybe it was just an off-day and it will be better than next time we return. I’ve had too many good experiences for me not to return.
