The food was actually pretty good. We had the cheese steak and the burnt ends sandwiches. Both were very tasty; the fries were crisp, hot and tasty. The tap beer was good and cold. The problem with this place is the service is terrible. Initially, the bartender came to our table and brought us our beer and menus fairly quickly. We asked for a couple minutes to decide on our meal and that’s where the “trouble” started. After about 10 minutes my girlfriend went to the bar and said we were ready to order, 5 minutes later a different bartender took our order, there were 3 other customers in the place. The food was delivered relatively quickly and then the staff just disappeared. We had to go to the bar to order a second beer. When it came time for the check we tried to get their attention but the waitress and waiter just kept walking right past us. Management really needs to train their wait staff in proper customer service!

So, setting reasonable expectations, it is a Friday evening. I sat at a table and watched the bartender and staff members manage to walk past me and the person at the table behind me without so much of a concern. After almost 20 minutes the person left, I went to the bar, explained excessive wait, waitress, China stated, yeah sorry but we kinda don’t have a hostess so, I’ll bring you a menu…15 minutes later she never arrives with a menu. Poor customer service will always ruin the atmosphere. I will never understand how just a tiny bit of coaching can teach/guide an employee how not to make poor excuses for poor service and just apologize and try to do better. Moving on, I go back to the bar,(15min elapsed)speak with a waiter, and now the reward for asking for service after 35+ minutes is having to sit here listening to John explain to me how I should have gone up to the bar like the other tables. I must note John apologized, it seemed sincere. So I understand him being overwhelmed. I noticed that the staff had to call the credit card company each card purchase for approval. There is a cascade effect, employee losing time on the phone for each card purchase, slower service, poor tips for slow service and lower ratings. They really need a card scanner, per one guest this has been an ongoing issue. Thats poor leadership on the management, they are effectively costing thier employees money(tips) and causing customers to leave(walk acrossthe street). I believe the manager Paul should or could remedy this issue and it appears he is aware, but is not engaged as this issue doesn’t affect salaried staff. Paul, do better. Lead from the front and show your team you have thier back.

Just came here for a 1 night stay at the Hilton and will forever come back! Gabriel at the Pub was super awesome and makes very good Moscow Mules! Make sure you try the Onion Soup and the Flat Breads! Poutine was also very delicious.

Very nice decor and well maintained. Service was fast, friendly and efficient, despite being fairly crowded. Salad was large and fresh. Limited craft beers on draft, but they have a nice selection in bottles.

Needs to learn how to use the Doordash app. Ordered food since it was on the menu, and no description said otherwise. Find out 30 mins later and after being confirmed by two different drivers that got sent there, that it’s only at certain times. That’s fine, but please say that or make unavailable on app.

Terrible service. The worst I have ever seen. The two waitresses don’t really care that you’re waiting at a table for more than 30 minutes. They don’t even acknowledge you. They need to find other work if they hate service. They look miserable. All around worst experience ever. Will NEVER Come back!!!!

It was a pleasure to have Bill as our waiter, and as our bartender. The shrimp mac and cheese was really delightful. There was also a live performer named Ian, who was phenomenal. I will definitely dine in at PJ’s 1910 Pub again in the near future. Thank you so much Bill for the extraordinary service tonight.

Order a burnt ends sandwich: it was alright. Everything had the right texture (mainly was looking for crispiness and crunchiness), but it either had a bit too much or a bit too little. The main thing that I didn’t like was the bread was pretty hard: it was either a bit stale or overtoasted.
