I came through the drive thru at around 7:50 am this morning and got 2 large strawberry limeades with extra strawberry. When I got to work, I opened the top to eat the ice and there was a small maggot on the inside of the cup. I am 8 months pregnant and it made me sick and disgusted me to the point of tears. Now I’m worried how many were in there now that I drank the whole thing and if it will negatively affect me. When I called the store to let them know, the young lady that answered the phone was very rude and told me she was the manager, when I explained to her what was going on, there was a long pause, almost like I’d been hung up on, so I guess she passed the phone to a man, probably an actual manager, then he proceeded to tell me that that couldn’t happen, that “there’s no way”, like I was lying about it and I didn’t have an insect in my cup from there. As if I have a stockade of maggots to keep on me so I can get sympathy and things for free. I will be calling the health department so they can come inspect immediately because that is absolutely disgusting and they fact that it was brushed off, ignored and flat out denied, is even more disturbing. I never complain. NEVER but this is unacceptable and I think people need to know about it.

The App ripped us off. It’s supposed to be 1/2 price. The guy said they don’t handle the App problems. This happened at another Sonic and they honored what the App was suppose to do. As a consumer, the App and the store should work together one as done by the second one mentioned.
