I’ve been looking for a carryout place with good mumbo sauce since my favorite one closed, and I think this might be it! They don’t put the mumbo sauce on until you get there, and they DROWN the wings! They also don’t charge for extra sauce. When you order the chicken they gift you all wings and the portions are big enough for you to save some for later, or be put into a food coma.

New Century is the best! This is my go-to for when I want ” carryout” wings and fries, but I substitute the fries for shrimp fried rice! Yes, on the side, not in a separate container. I get little wings because I don’t want those big ol dinosaur wings. Anywho! The people are very nice, especially the woman. When I called for my order, she already knew. I love it! The only issue for the atmosphere is that other ethnic people hang around, NOT at Century, however, the surrounding areas. Now go on over there and get yourself some small wings with a side of shrimp fried rice( if you eat seafood). Tell them I sent ya!

General tso’s chicken was actually crispy. For once, I ate the entire chicken with broccoli dinner combo. Perhaps the best chinese-american restaurant for the area, but that standard varies with your taste, sauce preference, spiciness, etc ♀️

We have only ordered from this spot of couple of times, but so far has been the best standard chinese carryout we have found in the Hyattsville area. While not the highest of quality, you get what you expect and it satisfies your takeout craving. Definitely a place where you need to just go there to place your order – you can probably call it in too, but their online menu isn’t easy to use.
