Food is consistently great! We have gone there several times and the food is wonderful! Husbands go to is the steak fajitas and I get the Chimichanga Del Mar. The margaritas are on point! And the beer is served in a nice COLD glass. Service is Great, greeted with a smile! Bartender Felipe is attentive and provides great service. If you want good Mexican make the drive to Havana, Illinois it will be worth it!

I’m from Alaska and been all over the USA, Los Charros Havana IL. Great Mexican food and service Priced right! Yet Far better than Tuscon AZ! I always leave a big cash tip handed to the server for great friendly service!

Good Mexican Restaurant, but I believe the Los Charros in Rushville is definitely better. You might think they would be the same, but they’re not. The one in Rushville is 5 star. Anyway, the food service is very fast, the portion sizes large, and the food itself is good quality. The salsa is thick with the right mix of tomatoes and onions. You won’t be disappointed. Some of the customer facing employees speak limited English. I can speak some Spanish so I’m OK with it but it might be a problem with some other customers.

We were In the area and decided to try this restaurant. The food was good although my husband felt something was missing from his shrimp dish so had to ask for tostadas which were promptly brought to him I ordered pollo loco with salad and rice but instead was brought a different version that had beans, rice but no salad. Not a big deal and he offered to bring me salad but I felt I had enough food so just kept things as they were . The service was quick and friendly. Super busy so I will take that into account. Waiters were actually running to deliver food and drinks. If you weren’t ready for your order off he went to a different table. AND, the AC was not working so on a 100 degree day this was not good. One family stripped their baby down to his diaper to try to relax him.
