This was an interesting experience. It was better than I thought it would be for the items they serve, but I was surprised a Mexican food place doesn’t have chips and salsa or sides, like rice. They are located in a 9 story professional building directly across the street from Taste of Texas and Fuddruckers (more directly from Fudd’s than ToT). I recommend going to the back of the building for better parking options. I was able to find a spot right outside of the entrance. They are on the 2nd floor. Once you get off the elevator, take an immediate right and you will see their little space. The menu is limited and you have to ask what they are serving. Nothing is posted for ordering. They have breakfast tacos, deli sandwiches, tacos, bagged chips, a small assortment of candy, canned sodas and bottled tea plus bottled Topo Chico. The taco meat and the deli sandwich meat were cooked on a flat top grill. The lady in front of me ordered the sandwich, so I got to see how that option is prepared. I had a beef fajita taco and a chicken tinga taco. Both were very good. They have red sauce and green sauce. They both had a nice spice to them. I’m not sure how long they have been open. I’m sure they cater to the building tenants more than outside guests. I think some decor would help the atmosphere, but as for the food, it really was good. $14.44 after tip for 2 tacos, a bag of Gardetto’s (never had that at a Mexican restaurant) and a bottled tea. Seating is limited, but so is the traffic, so I ate there to capture more of the vibe. All in all, not bad. I hope they do well. They close early, so check times before going. Monday-Thursday they close at 3:00 pm; Friday they close at 2:00 pm. They are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
