Our experience here was stellar. We walked in, not knowing what to expect, and ordered food to go. We were greeted with such kindness and hospitality. We even got to sample some different dishes as we learned about the parts of the menu. This family owned joint is as authentic as it gets for Middle Eastern food in Milwaukee. The chicken shawarma and the Special of the the Day (we got the lamb and 2 types of rice) were both so good. Hummus was delicious. Flavors of the rice were vibrant. The meat, decadent. We learned that they source locally from a farm in Beloit! This place exceeded our expectations. Thank you for the kindness. We will be back.

Y’ALL–This is one of the most underrated, hole-in-the-wall establishments in Milwaukee. A must try for lovers of authentic middle eastern/Mediterranean food.

Wow. This place is incredible. The food is extremely flavorful, all the meat is fall-off-the-bone tender, and the family that owns it is so kind! Highly recommend.

First time there on a Saturday evening around 6pm atmosphere was off there seemed to be decor from a baby shower with dying balloons in one corner but the rest of the area was nice it wasn’t busy at all they seated us we chose a booth it was spacious and comfortable. The service was great and welcoming they treat you with much care and consideration. We had mixed platter the meat had so much moisture and was easy off the bone. The 2 rice options we had were a green one and a orange one. I preferred the green one their garlic sauce is great. The falafel was the best I’ve ever tasted. The lamb is top shelf. And their malt non alcoholic drinks are very tasty. The dessert on the way out is for you if you have a huge sweet tooth

This is a local family business; that alone is reason to support Al Bazzar. We had the best Palestinian food — HOMEMADE! Don’t overlook this gem!

Good Mandi! Juicy tender meat that falls off the bone. We ordered Friday special Mandi and Kidra in a single plate for 4 people with both chicken and lamb. Both chicken and meat were well seasoned. The rice was flavorful too but I wish they used basmati instead of the long and thick grain rice they use. Also, I thought the smokey flavor was a little overpowering. We ordered hummus too, simple and delicious.
