We really enjoyed our meal here. All four of us ordered the “All you can eat family style” meal and everything was delicious. It is kind of like a buffet that they bring to your table. They bring out family bowls/platters and you can always ask for more. Our favorites were the Catfish and the ham with red eye gravy but everything was very good. We even tried the butterscotch pie and the chocolate overload cake. The cake was fantastic. The wait staff were very kind and friendly. There are three sections to the dining area and plenty of seating. Highly recommend this place!

I have eaten there in the past and it was very good. Last night, we traveled an hour to get there only to have one of the worst fried chicken dinners I’ve ever had. The vegetables were good but the three piece fried chicken pieces were so small (two thighs and couldn’t tell with the other one was – size of silver dollar). At my request, they brought replacement pieces out and it was the same thing. I was told that the only chicken they could get were small pieces! I’ll never go back again!. Such a shame that a restaurant with a good reputation has fallen to this level.

There were 7 of us and we all ordered the all you can eat, which, they bring out to you in big bowls. They served us tomatoes and coleslaw with club crackers first. Then a little bit later they brought out fried catfish, country ham, and fried chicken for the meats. If you run out of anything all you have to do is ask for more. This includes everything! Next they bring out stewed potatoes, green beans, Lima beans, fried apples, biscuits, and red eye gravy. I ordered a Pepsi to drink.

Fantastic homestyle country cooking! Wonderful atmosphere, incredible menu with wide selections! Very kind and friendly staff! The deserts are not to be missed! Take one home it is a must! Very reasonable prices and great local! See the Sulpher Springs it is worth it!

This restaurant is locally owned by great people that serve the very best tastes of Kentucky. If you grew up on country food your Grandma would cook every Sunday…then this will bring back those memories. Quality food that is served in abundance at a fair price. Country ham, fried chicken, catfish, biscuits, cornbread, tomatoes, slaw, and all the fixins’…and everything is home made or fixed in-house. No extra preservatives here. Great place for two, or twenty; they can accommodate everyone. You can order off the menu for smaller plates, or order the all you can eat that is served tableside in large bowls free for all to serve themselves. Located in the Sulphur Well Historic District, the food is worth the drive…and the wait (get there early). This place is known for miles around.
