Hopdoddy Burger Bar at the new 9th & CO development marks our second restaurant in Denver (check out our Union Station location, too). Surrounded by parks, shopping, and a new AMC Theatre, our new location is ideal for both residents and those looking for a walk-able area for a day of fun. We absolutely love Denver, and we’d like to think Denver loves us back. Local pubs like The Infatuation and Colorado Bucketlist have named Hopdoddy as one of the best burger bars in town. Our obsession with quality sets us apart. Every day, we bake our buns in-house so that they’re as fresh as possible. We also hand cut our fries and use Certified Piedmontese beef, the difference is in the taste.

It was a little surprising to see Hopdoddy so busy on a Thursday evening, but the staff moved quickly with the order and got us our food when it was ready! The fries are always an excellent decision, and the serving sizes are pretty large. The milkshake was great, and the beer selection is actually pretty big compared to other restaurant locations!

1st time experience and really not that impressed. 2 burgers 2 drinks and Parmesan truffle fries $40.31. Not into pink meat. Truffle fries hot and lemonade was good. Staff more engaged with each other. Won’t go out of my way to ever eat there again. Establishment in nice location. I’m sure they’ll get plenty of business. BEST WISHES

Burgers are pretty tasty, parm truffle fries are so good, and the pretzel bites with cheese are good too. I don’t care much for the bar drinks. But food is good I’ve been there twice. Lots of spicy options and I believe one or two vegetarian options as well. Gonna try the chicken next time I go since I’ve had two burgers so far. They have a happy hour where the beer, two mixed drinks, and two apps are $5 each. Street parking here and you preorder before sitting down. Not a bad place to go and it’s close to other restaurants and the movies.

Great atmosphere, great service, great food! The sandwiches were smaller than the pictures but still filling. We had the hot Parma chicken sandwich. It was very good, chicken was tender, sauce had just enough spice and the bun was crispy inside, yet soft on the outside. We also had the El Diablo which wasn’t really that spicy, but was still tasty. We ordered the pretzels with beer cheese, which were great, and the parm fries. The fries seem like they were the bottom of the barrel. We loved, loved the Chipotle ketchup! The, Happy Hour drink specials were great! The parking isn’t stellar, we had to drive around quite a while before we found a space, but that is to be expected with the location. All in all it was a good dinner and we will return.

I will say the draft beers are huge! The burgers were good but i recommend going with just a normal classic burger. My boyfriend didn’t care for the bacon jam. Only reason i gave 4 stars is because they are pretty pricey for a burger place. We got 2 burgers, 2 beers and 1 side of fries and our bill was over $60 which i find to be a bit much for what you get.

Edit: We gave it a second try, ate in, and had a much better food experience. My burger was hot and loaded with toppings, and the fries were as amazing as I assumed they’d be. This time, the burgers were fully cooked. 🙂

These burgers are incredible. You can’t go wrong with any of the options. My group got the diablo burger, vegan burger, and the bacon burger. Highly recommend getting some truffle fries and they have a few beers to choose from. Great vibes, clean restrooms, several TV’s mounted on the walls.

Food was really good got el Diablo and it lives up to its name!! Also got the 1/4 burger which was great size for small eaters. Was recommended Paloma drink was decent. The honey hot fires were the best sweet potatoes we have ever had!! 10/10 recommend for burgers and fries. Service was great also, make sure you ask for everything you need while ordering and when the drop off the food as they don’t check up on you after that. Very friendly though!

What can I say about Hopdoddy? Hmmm hmmmm delicious. So the first time we did not have a good experience and I did share my thoughts on that but since we loved loved loved the fries and the drinks and the shakes we gave it another try and this time we loved everything. The fries is addictive i must say and the truffle fries is a must try ( best in town) the first time I ordered the sweet potato hot honey and sage fries and my husband said yuck sweet fries? And he almost finished the whole thing all of the fries they offer are amazing. To me the burgers are a bit small for the price but they are packed with flavor. My personal favorite is the magic shroom burger. One other thing that I love is monthly specials that changes every month so every month you can try a new burger or chicken sandwich.

Great new place off Colorado Blvd. I highly recommend folks to come and check this place. The atmosphere is pretty classy for the healthy comfort food. I really enjoyed some of the beers and the menu has a wide range of options. It’s a bit pricey but the vibe is worth it.
