The food at Gibson’s is consistently good. If you want a home cooked tasting meal, this is the place. It’s take out only and cash only. Parking can be a little tough because the lot is small. Worth the trip.

The food is good from what I remember. But the man was extremely rude. Couldn’t answer very basic questions such as how much is a platter. Kept saying i wanted catering when i asked for 8 platters and had the nerve to say “you’re asking too many questions, i can’t sit on the phone and answer all these questions.” Well if he was competent enough to answer the very basic questions i had the call would’ve been over lol. Do better. Hire better people to represent your business. Also get the man some help. He’s miserable and unable to keep up by himself

Wow- cannot say enough about how GOOD this was!!! The chicken had so much flavor… crispy, perfect amount of spice, and even reheated nicely. Loved the Mac and cheese – very cheesy and great flavor. I got the ribs and that was my favorite. . It was well done with some good BBQ sauce. Can’t wait to eat from here again.

My wife got chicken wings, yams and mac and cheese. I got 2 BBQ ribs and a mustard rib. The flavor was normal. Nothing special. My wife thought they were good. The red beans and rice are similar to Popeyes (to my taste)….and the mac and cheeses is EXCELLENT.

I have NEVER purchased food in this establishment. I only go there occasionally to see what they have in the steam table. It’s always over priced for tiny portions that would barely feed a child. You can make a better meal at home for $5 rather than spend $25 here.

I went to this hidden gem to break away from your typical fast food style dealings for daily vittles. First, EXCELLENT and Professional customer service by the sweet lady that took my order over the phone. Now…delicious SOUL FOOD, just like you remember from a past time, that one relative or several others that went on to glory. The chicken was FRESH out the fryer, accompanied by sides of delicious cabbage, macaroni and cheese, some fire sweet potatoes and a delectable cornbread muffin. Can’t wait to try the chocolate cake for dessert tonight. If I tried it, I would have to take the rest of the day off. So good I slapped my own self and I will be back. Tip the captain and the mate. They deserve it!!! The food was “SOPPED UP”
