First night of vacation dinner and we were super happy with our choice! Sat on the patio. Great food and service! The owner and chef came out to talk with each table and was so kind! If you’re able support this wonderful local sushi spot. We got the sushi special, cherry blossom roll, rainbow #2 roll, and complimentary mochi courtesy of the owner!

Highly recommend the cherry blossom and baked dynamite roll! My husband got the salmon lover and he said the quality was great! The owner was also very nice and sweet and all the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back during my next visit to this island!

Not busy on a Thursday night. Catapillar and cherry blossom rolls were delicious. Service is excellent. Head chef and owner came by and gave us complimentary ice cream. Which was so delicious.

The atmosphere was super laid back and it wasn’t too busy because the Spam jam festival was going on. It was nice to have the place to myself. Flora was my server. She was so attentive and kind. I ordered the Sake (salmon) and the Hamachi (Yellowtail) sashimi and a caterpillar roll. The fish was very fresh & melted in my mouth. They make their own soy sauce in house, too, FYI!! This place did not disappoint. The place is small, so I suggest you make reservations, because you do not want to miss this gem!

I actually walked by this place earlier in my trip and they were closed, but I’m SO GLAD I came back (and I plan to make another stop by here before I leave). The vibe of the restaurant was just… Right. The music in the background. The servers (who were amazing). The aesthetic. I loved everything about my experience here. I appreciate their beer list, and the Stuffed Jalapeños and Ebi Tempura Don were satisfying as is humanly possible. I came here for sushi, but I’m so happy that I switched my order up today – and I’ll save sushi for the next trip. The other thing I want to mention is that they nail the simplest, yet most important part of this type of food (for me): the rice. I can’t think of the last time I had rice that was prepared this well. I literally ate every single grain with my chopsticks. It was THAT good. Anyway, I’m here for about another week and a half, and I figure I’ll come here 2 more times before I depart Hawaii. I really wish I had this in my neck of the woods in Cali — Hawaiians are lucky to have places like this so readily accessible. Kudos to the chefs and the staff at this location. Seriously — this is a “must visit” for me now whenever I’m in this area.

My favorite sushi restaurant in Waikiki! The selection is very fresh and yummy! We ordered a different selection of rolls and all were great. The soy sauce is homemade and tasted amazing with the rolls. The patio is beautifully lit up and service was excellent! Definitely recommend if you are staying in Waikiki!

I am not a person who usually leaves a review but after eating at sushi spot waikiki, I had to – it was absolutely the best sushi place I’ve ever been! My husband and I came here for our first day, tired and hungry from our long flight and were so happy that we found this place. The host welcomed us with warm welcoming and all the staffs were very friendly and attentive. We started with stuffed jalapeno that our server kindly recommended as their signature and it was an absolute delight. Then we ordered spicy kimchi udon, bulgogi, cherry blossom, and sushi deluxe combo.

Wonderful neighborhood spot right in the heart of Waikiki. Great selection of appetizers, sashimi, and Maki (rolls). They also have non-sushi items as well. Everything can be shared which is nice. And don’t forget to save room for the tempura banana and some ice cream.
