Ive loved Thomasena’s ever since they were in that plaza on Adams & Rising Sun. Then they moved to Orthodox St. I still went. Then they upped and closed in 2021 for some reason. I wish they open again or share their relocation. I loved their food. The basa, green beans, and mac and cheese was my go to platter.

Absolutely delicious !! If I could give more than five stars I would.. very clean establishment great customer service. Plenty of room in the waiting area for social distancing . Portions size are well worth it! Hands down my new favorite souls food place!!!

I was told to pick up my order by 6:15 and I just happened to get there at 6:00 and it was ready. I call Thomasina’s the Chic-Fil-a of soul food. Customer service is very good and the food is delicious.

Please open back up or share new location. This was the best place to get soul food in the area.. the staff was the best and the environment was beautiful and pleasant to be in. Food was so good. I need to find these people lol. Best soul food in my area. They closed down and I don’t know of they relocated or what. If anyone knows please let me know.

I ordered 2 Turkey wing platters there today for me and my sister and it was the WORST platters that we have ever had!!! The collard greens were not done and it was hardly any collard greens just alot of big stems and nooooooo seasoning, the turkey wings were horrible as well the meat was soooooo dry and the skin was greasy. Even the Mac n cheese wasn’t good and I am livid because that was $60 down the drain!!! They used to have awesome food when they were on Rising sun, but they moved to a newer and larger location and now their food is lousy!!! I will not be ordering from there again EVER!!! And the only reason I gave them one star is because I had to in order to leave a review

My bf and I ordered from here for the first time tonight and we were NOT disappointed! We both ordered the wings with baked mac and cheese (I chose double mac) and yams. The wings were seasoned perfectly, the mac and cheese was burnt on top just how we like it and creamy, the yams were perfect (not too sweet)…the best mac and cheese and yams we’ve had by far! The only downside was we ordered potato salad as an extra side and didn’t receive it but ended up getting a refund (through GrubHub). All in all the food was really good. Will definitely be ordering again.
