My wife and I ordered take out on Saturday evening . We both ordered hamburger steak plates . We ordered our great granddaughter a child’s hotdog plate . I was told it would be 30 minutes . I got there in 25 minutes and still waited another 12 minutes before someone came to the window . After giving my name she picked our food up that has been sitting on the counter at the window . Got home which is only a couple of minutes away , our food was cold . We had to heat up in microwave . The steaks were dry and fries hard . The slaw we got were in a tiny container that salad dressing comes in . I think we got a bite and a half of slaw each . My granddaughters hotdog she could eat cos it was overcooked and her fries also was hard . Last time I will ever go to Amanda’s . You have the kitchen overcrowded with employees and standing at the window watching before anyone came to wait on me , they had no clue what they were doing . I watched as a couple of the employees go through several take out plates seeing what was in them . This restaurant should close their doors for good .

The place on the other side of the parking lot was closed so we ate here. It was 33% more expensive and the quality was not there at all. Portions were very small as well. Don’t waste your time this isn’t the dive your looking for.

Staff were super sweet and make sure we were taken care of. Even though they had been super busy all day our food was really good. I got the Sheila burger and I loved the pimento cheese. My husband got the hamburger steak and he loved the gravy and sauted onions. We will definitely be back!!
