Not much variety but the stuff they do have is good

Probably the best place to eat on campus, both from a food standpoint and because of its central location.

Satisfaction really depends on the student staff and who’s working. I’ve seen staff leave food to dry out/get cold, if you want something from the grill you have to be very specific otherwise your order will probably come out wrong.

The food isn’t half bad for school food and the prices aren’t too outrageous either. My only gripe, as a student, is that I don’t know what is to be served the day before. It’s not too much of a gripe, but I like knowing when the pork sausage patties are being served during breakfast.

Neptune Dining is one of the most convenient places to eat during your day of classes. If you have a meal plan, the price doesn’t factor in too much. If you are paying to get in, you are going to dish out around 10$ per person, and while it is all you can eat, it isn’t very good. The food frequently sits out for long periods of time, and the pizza they always have always has undercooked crust. If you are student on campus, you may as well come here because it’s fairly centered on campus, but overall, it’s dorm food. Its adequate at best.

Wow, I guess I can review NIU’s dining services! I am a commuter student, and I was unaware I could eat at the dining hall. The food was actually amazing. I am jealous of the students who live on campus and get that delicious food. For me, it was $7.95 for all you can eat food! I gave four stars as I went for a cheeseburger, and they have a grill where they make food like burgers, cheesesteaks, etc, but I swear that was the slowest moving line in the world. The burgers came out great however!

Well it’s dorm food so your standards should be pretty low. However it is still surprisingly good whether it’s the pizza, main course stuff, or extra side stuff.

Quality of food is subpar and selection is heavily limited. Some items may be good or even great, but most are not worth the price to get in. Works if you are in a pinch but going somewhere else is recommended.

good food and variety, everything’s pretty easy to access, only gripe is that the east side of Neptune has to go all the way around to central (or west if you need the elevator) because the doors on that side are used for fire escape.

Risotto is crunchy, but they still stay true to menu most of the time. Swedish meatballs supposed to be served with noodles, but they had (crunchy) risotto instead.
