Food was very good. My husband and dad both had the clam chowder and fried clams and enjoyed them. I was disappointed they did not have haddock or any other broiled fish on the menu.

I normally don’t review restaurants but after the meal and service my mother and I just received from Heidi at Kent’s Restaurant I literally have to give it five stars! The atmosphere was chilly (near the window, in the middle of winter) but so comfy. The food was mind-blowing, seriously! My mom had Chicken Parmesan, I had Bourbon Steak Tips and we actually shared our plates because they were both SO DELICIOUS and had to try each others dish. So yes, the food was amazing but, back to the service, because that’s a huge deciding factor with us…. And thank goodness for Heidi! Although it looked like she was the only server that was busy (likely the one on closing shift) she was attentive, quick and enjoyable! I worked in this industry for many, many years and I’m very critical when it comes to service. I know what needs to be done and the timing that it needs to be done in and I must say, Heidi killed it with everything! So thank you Heidi for your service and the chef’s in the kitchen. We will spread the good word and we will be back with more family and friends to share your great food and service with!

A family-owned restaurant that serves home cooked meals. The portions are large and the food is good. The salmon dinner is my favorite here… they cook it to perfection and it’s quite a large piece. Little necks in their tasty broth is one of our favorites and we ask for extra bread for dipping. The fried scallops, in the summer, are sweet and juicy.

Food is always great here. The seafood take out is amazing in the summer, we like to buy it for parties/cookouts. It’s not a large place and is often packed on Friday nights, but we love the bar side. It’s quiet, not a super loud sports bar. A+

As with many places which serve deep fried foods, Kent’s needs to grasp the concept of draining the grease out of the food. It’s not that difficult! Mainly, we would go there for clam cakes and chowder, occasionally, fish and chips. The past few years or so, the quality of these items has REALLY declined. They used to have the best chowder in the area, in our opinion, but sadly, the quality has gone WAY downhill, tasting as if it was diluted and tasteless, with far too much flour or cornstarch added to compensate. If you get even one piece of minced clam in a clam cake, consider yourself lucky. The French fries are ALWAYS soggy and in need of a major decreasing. Very sad, as this restaurant used to be consistently above average. This has not been our experience in quite some time, and we have stopped going there. Hopefully, they will somehow, get the quality back up to where it once was. We miss the way it used to be.

We love Kent’s. The food is always good. Red clam chowder without carrots. Lots of clam and well cooked potatoes. Great stuffies, the seafood is always fresh and served hot. The service is friendly, not in your face but available. Nice place to have a meal.

Very good food. Between 3 of us we had baked scrod, chicken parmesan, and baked stuffed shrimp. The restaurant looks more like a banquet hall with many rows of tables, but we enjoyed the food and the free 1/2 carafe of wine with certain entrees that were two entrees for 27.95.
