Such a great find! We came on a Thursday and had a great time. It was free pool night and I lost to my wife twice. Then, as we were about to pay out bill someone had paid it forward for us. Not sure if it was Hideaway themselves or a patron…but we were blown away and surely thankful. A very cozy, friendly place in Severance CO.

Awful experience……..food made me Ill, spent my afternoon in the bathroom with diarrhea and vomiting… wait staff was lazy and rude. They were more worried about their friends at the bar than the four tables… Someone needs to learn the proper ratios for cleaning chemicals, the bleach smell alone hurt my throat…bleach is very toxic if not mixed properly….. my steak was over cooked, I asked for medium, it was well. The salad is just iceberg lettuce with cheese and croutons, with a few shreds of purple cabbage…. The jalapeno poppers were burnt on the outside, pepper was not cooked and was crunchy, the cream cheese looked like cottage cheese and was cold. Not a place I will ever return to or tell anyone anything positive about. The signage, if you can call it that, is confusing….they lack identity.. who and what is this place… it says its grubbys on the outside east banner and then The Hideaway inside, but over the door it’s called the Severence Key???? It also advertises that its family friendly, it looks like a liquor store and nothing inside was family friendly, I wouldn’t bring my kids to a place like this….

Was really excited to try this place after reading the reviews, might be a cool place to have a beer, but the food & service was terrible!!! 40 min for bacon cheesburgers, half cooked fries Ohhh and sorry no bacon. Fried pickles as appetizers that came out last!!! So so bad.

Used to be the Hideaway but is now Gruddyz. It is a must visit. AMAZING Wings and Burgers. If you don’t try it your missing out. They also deliver locally.
