Authentic, absolutely delicious Puerto Rican food… The rice and beans were full of flavor and I loved that you received two big pieces of chicken and the tostones were huge and so flavorful! I highly recommend everyone to stop by and get this amazing Spanish food in Wesley Chapel in The Krate!!

I was brought by the family living in the area and this spot doesn’t disappoint. Got it down to the ham and potatoes in the red beans and the platanos were all plain (salted) which was perfect. I also had me the beef empanadas which hit all my spots.

Where do I begin, disorganized location and no and I repeat no clue on listening to customer. Ordered food and drinks, only to get order and it was wrong and missing drinks. Yet they state it was not ordered. Food was raw (see pictures) and when brought to attention it’s ignored, as if I was making it up.. Absolutely high priced and sloppy execution. As a Puerto Rican, this place is a hard pass. Do not recommend.

I fully understand and appreciate the importance of supporting small businesses, particularly those of Puerto Rican origin (sorry I’m a bit bias towards my own people). They are a rare find in my neighborhood, which makes it even more disheartening that I couldn’t provide a better rating. Let’s begin with the positive aspects. The location of the establishment is excellent, and the overall ambiance is charming and vibrant. The staff members are kind and provide good customer service. Additionally, the dessert options are worth a try and stand out as a highlight.

The wait time is out of control. You order 3 chicken skewers and a fritter 2 beers and a sangria $60.00. On top of that I ordered my food and they took over 40min to deliver while people who ordered after I did got theirs in a fair time of about 10 to 15 min. I go ask them about the food and they gave your order to another person and make you wait longer no apology or nothing. I understand it’s hard work but come on it was way better when they first opened up. Another thing is They charge you $2.00 for a fountain soda and there is no refill. Really disappointed in this place. Not eating or spending more $$ there.

Nice place. Clean and the staff was quick to greet us and take our order. Food was good. Tried the chicken empanada and a sandwich. Empanadas were delicious! The sandwich was a little strange. Also got a donut and that was very good. Very filling and the prices were excellent!!

It saddens me to have to leave a 2 star review- not only because in trying to be supportive of a small local business – the lack of choices and over food is a disservice to the customer – made 2 attempts within 4 days and the choices of what is on the menu was far less than one would like thus making it very difficult to drive to only to find not enough food to go around for a group of 6 – not to mention driving to vs going to a sure thing! The food is always been great but if you don’t have any or one can’t get to eat it – perhaps next time we won’t make a effort and just go to another restaurant/place that won’t disappoint. Please take this review in good faith because it’s being sent with the best intentions!!
