Dine in Dinner.. This is one of those wonderful restaurants that should be on everyone’s favorite list of places to go. The atmosphere is relaxed friendly & comfortable.. great for dinner with friends & family, nice & cozy enough that it’s perfect for date night. The service is always friendly & helpful. The food is delicious and I’ve never tried anything here that I didn’t like. The draft beer is cold & they have these great fishbowl chalice? Cups that are thick glass which helps keep it cold. Honestly I forget about this place sometimes and always wonder why I don’t make it here more often.

Cool place to visit. Clean and friendly. Not a ton of seating so I would recommend calling ahead. Everyone’s meals were pretty good, and fairly priced. The “hot fiddler” they specialize in was ok. It’s a whole fried catfish (or two). The PO boy was good as was the fried chicken. For appetizers we got catfish curls and kraut balls. The kraut balls are sour kraut and cheese filled deep fried balls. I enjoyed those the most.

Cozy, charming, a little loud, but fun tavern. The food was excellent as was the service. If you eat outside, the dining area is delicateful, but can be annoying when the flys are in season. The Reuben sandwich and fried mushrooms are excellent.

They get 2 stars – 1 for portion size/value and the other for how they handled a complaint. Other than that, I don’t have much good to say.

Catfish was really good. Corn muffins gross served lukewarm. Tenderloin was ok. Not the best but not worst either. Baked potato & fries were good. Beer was not cold enough. Waitress was nice.

Got to see Karen at the table next to us … She DID NOT LIKE her salad and made a scene. I, on the other hand, enjoyed my stromboli and 3 (three) pepperoncini and a coke. We also had fish sandwich (very good with Frank’s Red Sauce) and fish with a lemon sauce or glaze that was awesome!
