I really wanted to like the food here but it was just not great. The Roasted Cauliflower appetizer was fine and the Edamame and Cauliflower bowl was really plain. The Spicy Bean Veggie Burger was actually pretty good but the fries it came with were not. Service was excellent though, that and the atmosphere. We were seated on the rooftop and it was great up there. It was super nice weather with a breeze and all the plants/flowers were nice. Overall I probably wouldn’t go back and it feels like they prioritize the look over the taste of the food.

I thought the food was great (our group of six ordered a variety of luncheon treats.) Everyone was pleased with the food they ordered. Although a little pricey on a few items, we all agreed we loved the place, including enjoying the luxurious and well designed rooftop dining area. We decided we would return for another experience and delicious meal very soon.

I enjoyed the food so much that I want to rate this higher than five stars. Buddha Bowl with seared Ahi Tuna for the win. Wash it down with a Brickhouse Old Fashioned. It is a little pricey but I’m OK with that. It can get very busy so reservations are a good idea if you are set on eating here.

First time here. I went with the Prime rib sandwich only to find out they were out. Instead, I had the Rueben. Incredible thick slices of meat!!! Taste was amazing. My wife had a smoked brisket quesadilla that was out of this world. The Korean BBQ Brussel sprouts came highly recommended so we tried those. My god. Will be returning again and again! Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff made the visit a 5/5!

A very nice place in the heart of downtown White Bear Lake. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and second to none. Excellent chefs and good presentation of dishes. I would recommend reservations especially on the weekends. Prices are a little higher… $20 for a burger and fries… $26 for a salad with chicken which is what we ordered. We thought the chicken would be grilled though. It was shredded so the texture wasn’t the best. But overall a good experience!

A few friends and I had lunch on the rooftop. I ordered the Berry & Brie salad, my friends ordered the Margarita Flatbread and Brickhouse Chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything came out on time and everyone agreed the food was delicious. My salad was so fresh, all the fruit was sweet and juicy but the star is the dressing, the madras curry vingerite is addictive. It was sweet and savory with a bit of spice. I wish I could buy a bottle of the dressing, I literally ate every piece of salad on my plate that it touched.

Would have given a 5 star just for the ambience and food(when it’s done correctly) but the reduced star is because dietary restrictions aren’t taken seriously here. I ordered vegetarian and mentioned that it’s a religious restriction and been a vegetarian all my life. (I always share those details to be extremely careful) But my food came with meat. Even the second time it came with meat. I like the ambience and will visit this place again but will be doing multiple checks to be sure there is no meat, before I put my fork in. Thankfully this time I noticed the meat before I had a bite and so I was able to avoid the disaster of eating meat for the first time in my life against my religious beliefs. Having said that, the manager was polite and sincerely was sorry for what had happened. Hope they will train their waiters and kitchen staff on the importance of dietary restrictions.

Stopped by for lunch with a few coworkers. Cool building with lots of character. Meals were on point, I ordered the special of the day, a chicken wrap. It was served with fries and extremely good. The others enjoyed their meals too. I probably wouldn’t make this a normal lunch hangout as many of the lunch options were over $20. However, I will be returning to have dinner here. Nice place and great food, Brickhouse gets 5 stars from this reviewer.

Second time visiting in a month. The food is amazing! The cracker crusted walleye was the best I’ve ever had. The honeybee pork chop with the scrumptious brussel sprouts was great too. I would have given this a perfect score except the end of the night ruined it. As I was walking out (at 9:30) I looked over to the kitchen staff to give them a final thumbs up when one of the hefty kitchen staff pointedly looked down and glared at his watch & then right at me. If you are annoyed that there are patrons in your establishment at 9:30 I suggest you change your websites listing so it doesn’t say “CLOSES AT 10”. Thank you to Brooklyn our waitress for knowing how to treat her patrons and going the distance.
